One of the best things about my job is, obviously, the beauty products. Yes, I sometimes get frustrated with them for a multitude of reasons, but show me a loving relationship without a little up and down, and I wouldn't believe it was real! You can always rely on new beauty releases to send a buzz through the beauty industry. With its constant evolution and innovation, the beauty industry is an exciting place. Things like new formulations, new technologies and new ingredients all keep beauty consumers forever on their toes. Even new packaging can be enough to warrant a fancy dinner event or celebrity-promo circuit.

So with the new season comes an inevitable host of new beauty releases. Not all are born equal, of course, but it is very apt timing considering I'm about to schedule my annual spring beauty-bag clean-out, and my routine could do with some exciting—effective—new additions.
