Free People's Latest Collection Is Exactly What I Want to Wear This Winter
My winter style tends to get bland after the holidays. I put away the sparkles, plaid, and faux fur, and I'm left with my trusty black wool coat and boots. This year, I'm determined to end this cycle with the help of Free People and Dr. Martens. The outfits I'm wearing above are exactly the one I want to keep wearing all season long. This flannel-lined barn jacket is incredibly warm, the striped scarf adds a fun print, but the boots are the real stars of the show. Dr. Martens' latest arrivals include a waterproof version of brand's signature 1460 style and this shearling lined style that is surprisingly lightweight and incredibly warm. They're so easy to walk in (thanks to the air cushioned sole) and will come in handy on snow days. For the 1460s, I selected this sunny yellow color, but they also come in olive, lavender, and black. Shop My Looks
If you tend to stick to neutrals but want to incorporate more color, use the first outfit as your blueprint. I chose a pair of jeans and a navy coat as my base, but I added color via accessories and Dr.Martens boots. If you're a tried and true neutral lover, the second look will be right up your alley. Don't shy away from mixing brown and black leather accessories together.
Additional Favorites
Every winter, my Free People hauls include the brand's knitwear and denim. This year, I love the rollneck sweaters, overalls, and cargo pants. Just wait until you see the pink cashmere Henley at the very end.
