Visiting NYC? Here's the Editor-Loved Shopping Destination You Can't Miss
Since I moved to New York, my Google Calendar has basically become my personality. There's always something going on in this city: fashion events, openings, launches. But this past month, I was genuinely excited about one event, in particular: the reopening of Michael Kors's Rockefeller Center flagship. Who What Wear partnered with the brand to host the relaunch, and perhaps I'm biased, but it was the opening of the season. Who What Wear's senior editor Anna LaPlaca and fashion executive and stylist Tiffany Reid kicked off the night by sharing their favorite Michael Kors pieces and how they're styling the brand's chic fall and winter staples. Of course, they were both in head-to-toe looks that made me want to shop on the spot.
The new store is such a moment. The redesign leans into soft neutrals, luxe materials, and subtle art deco touches that nod to Rockefeller Center. Immersive details such as curated playlists and seasonal lighting make the space feel like an escape from the Manhattan craziness. There's a Jet Set Lounge serving coffee, tea, and zero-proof bubbly; a Charm Bar that customizes handbag charms; and the dreamiest shoe salon. (To my husband: If I'm ever lost, I'm likely knee-deep in MK shoes at the salon.) You'll want to spend the whole day at this store. I pulled together some of my favorite Michael Kors pieces, which you'll definitely want to shop. Scroll below, and stop by the flagship next time you're in Rockefeller Center.
