I Have an Event Every Weekend This Spring—Here’s What I'm Shopping at Walmart to Stay On-Trend
This past winter, I RSVP'd yes to every spring event invite that came my way, figuring they were a long way off and I'd deal with my outfits later. But recently, I realized that later is now. Along with securing hotels, flights, and gifts, I need to find outfits to wear to all of these gatherings. I don't plan on losing my title as best-dressed guest anytime soon. I want looks that are affordable (because the aforementioned hotels, flights, and gifts won't be) but also on-trend for spring. It's crunch time—but instead of panicking, I'm looking to Walmart. Here's why.
Runway-Inspired Designs for Less
This spring, sculptural shapes, pastel hues, and romantic florals are having a moment—and I plan to give each style a spin. Thanks to Walmart's must-shop brands Time and Tru, Scoop, and Free Assembly—which are on the pulse of the latest in fashion—I'll be able to find options that lean into the season's top trends.
A Look for Every Dress Code
As you can guess, all my events have varying dress codes, so finding one piece that works for all occasions is out of the question. I need a sundress for a graduation party, a gown for a black-tie wedding, a cocktail dress for another wedding, and a couple of brunch-appropriate looks. I appreciate that Walmart has a variety of dress styles (including long, midi, and mini lengths), inclusive size options, and affordable prices, so finding appropriate looks for my body type and each event's dress code is more than doable.
Shopping (and Shipping) Made Simple
Previously, I would have had to search dozens of retailers for dresses, spending far too much time, energy, and money. I appreciate that Walmart's shipping is fairly priced. Instead of worrying about paying for rush delivery, I can order a Walmart item and know it will arrive at my door as early as the next day. There are also options for curbside pickup if I'm feeling too antsy to wait.
