When I need to talk to someone about the shopping finds on my radar, it's my duty to write a story. Specifically, I need to talk about J.Crew. We cover J.Crew quite a lot here at Who What Wear because it's an excellent brand and worthy of discussion, but I wanted to do a story about a few very special items in its inventory right now.

So, instead of rounding up the usual 30 items of note at J.Crew, I'm here to talk about just 13. Why? Because I want to focus your attention—sans distractions—on a handful of items that are stylish, versatile, compliment-worthy, and just plain cool. Below you'll find a mix of summer-friendly basics and trend-forward pieces, all of which inspired me to immediately hit the add-to-cart button. Trust me: you'll understand why I selected these items as soon as you see them.

I've included this chic sweater-jacket hybrid in multiple stories because it's on-trend, looks expensive, and can be worn year-round since it's 100% cotton.

J.Crew has several black-and-white pieces that have caught my eye recently, but this bow-adorned tank is really making me feel things. Pair it with J.Crew's viral Gwyneth Slip Skirt and heeled sandals for a chic summer outfit.

Did you know the best under-$100 black minidress on the internet was hiding at J.Crew? Now you do. And it comes in red too.

I have plenty of striped shirts, but I'd gladly make room for this one. The boxy fit and loose cropped sleeves make a timeless wardrobe staple feel fresh.

You can wear this dress to a wedding or the farmer's market—it's that versatile. Plus, the floral print is just dreamy.

These highly-rated pants have been a J.Crew staple for nearly 10 years. They're perfect for lounging at home, days at the beach, or running errands. Pair them with a tank and sandals.

'Tis the season for woven bags, and J.Crew's iteration is excellent. Simple, fun, and roomy; you'll carry it over and over all season long.

This tank top hardly needs a caption. It's chic, versatile, and cool. I'd wear it with anything from jeans to white shorts to a red miniskirt.

The glowing reviews for this chic linen blazer say it all. I love it styled without anything underneath.

Dresses like this are why people are so in love with J.Crew right now. Pair it with everything from platforms to Birkenstocks.

These new sandals look comfortable, expensive, and chic. I predict you'll reach for them on many a summer day.

The hype about this slip skirt is completely justified (I own it). It's high quality, fits great, and looks timeless. I hope J.Crew never stops making it.

This has to be the internet's most polished denim jacket. It goes with almost every other piece in this roundup.
