The L.A.-Girl Version of Skinny Jeans Has Arrived
Although the balmy climate in Los Angeles allows for sartorial variety, L.A. girls love jeans—especially jeans by Re/Done. You're probably already familiar with the brand that celebrities and models endorse practically on a daily basis, but if not, Re/Done is known for reworking vintage Levi's into styles that reflect today's ever-evolving denim trends. It has undoubtedly changed the vintage denim game.
And now that the Los Angeles–based company has perfected vintage denim, it's natural that it would want to broaden its horizons to include its own collection of original denim (aka future vintage). The brand launched Re/Done Originals in late 2016 with an assortment of rigid 100% cotton denim, and last spring it expanded its offerings to include stretchy pairs as well. One of our favorite denim releases of all of 2017? Some of the best black skinny jeans we've ever tried.
The jeans in question were a pair of black frayed-hem high-rise ankle-crop jeans (its best-selling fit). "This just might be the most comfortable, while still flattering, jean Re/Done has ever made," the brand says, and we agree. When we think of L.A.-girl skinny jeans, we think of pretty much this exact pair. Shop the L.A.-girl version of skinny jeans for yourself below, along with an assortment of other black skinny jeans we love.
