I Scrolled Through & Other Stories' Entire Coat Edit—These 17 Really Stood Out
Coat season is well and truly here, and I, for one, am delighted. I've always been a bit of a coat obsessive thanks to the myriad styles available out there. From plaid to shearling and belted styles to trench coats, there's definitely something for everyone. When it comes to my ever-growing coat collection, my argument is always this: Coats are one of the first things you notice about someone, so why not make a statement? Plus, the cost per wear with our long winters ensures that choosing a coat you love is always a good investment. All in all, they are always a key piece in my autumn/winter capsule wardrobe, and this season is no different.
There are a few things I consider before purchasing a new coat. Whether I'm buying vintage, designer or high-street, I always check the fabrication and think about the fit. Second, I love how easy a great coat is to throw on and how it can instantly elevate your look, so I always try to ensure there are multiple outfits I can wear my new cosy purchase with.
One brand I always find success with is & Other Stories. Influencers, editors and celebs are also fans of the Scandinavian brand, and it is well-known for its elevated and classic pieces that become firm favourites in our wardrobes.
From a shearling option to the classic peacoat and the ultimate leather trench, when it comes to & Other Stories' coat offering this year, the choices are endless. Look out for puffers made with recycled down, trench coats in anything but beige and interesting details like extra-wide collars.
