This Color Is a Must for Fall—Here's How We're Wearing It

All the Ways to Wear is a monthly series where we round up the personal twists the Who What Wear team is putting on one particular item, style, or trend. Whether it's the trending denim of the moment or the season's It print, we hope to inspire your daily outfits and up the cost per wear on some of our favorite items.

There are trends that get me excited, and then there are trends that get me straight-up giddy. And recently, I've been obsessed with the rise of one particular color trend. Red carpets and designer runways have been punctuated by pink the past couple of seasons, and the color is definitely having another moment this fall. From those show-stopping gowns and oversize blazers to some far more wearable knits and fun denim, celebrities and fashion people alike are doubling down on pink, and reinvesting for the new season.

I'm currently all about bringing this cheerful color into my fashion lineup, and I'm not alone. My fellow co-workers are constantly wearing pink looks to the office or on their IG stories, whether they're dressed in head-to-toe bubblegum sets or adding fun pops of fuchsia to their fall ensembles. So I decided to find out where they were snagging all their chic pink finds, and to my wallet's delight, I discovered they've been scooping these pieces up from Walmart at unbelievably good prices. Keep scrolling to see how they're styling their favorites from the retailer's on-trend selection.

"Since bright shades of pink have been all over the runways, red carpet, and street style set, when I spotted this pink sweater, I knew it would be the perfect way to incorporate the saturated shade into my wardrobe. The sweater is such a statement, so I kept the rest of the look easy with relaxed jeans and classic black boots. I couldn't help but add a little contrast with my orange bag, and both colors together have to be my favorite part of the look. I consider this look an everyday option whether I'm running errands or getting lunch in the city."

"I was focused on going all in with the pink, so I styled this marbled pink and red set with crystal-embellished, hot-pink heels and a micro-bag to carry my dinner essentials. I wore this look during a night out, and it was just the right amount of comfy and pretty. I love how I can break up the pieces and wear them with other staples in my wardrobe—I could wear jeans with the top or a T-shirt with the skirt. These will definitely be two of my key transitional pieces as we head into fall."

"I'm all about neutral basics, but I do love a bright pop of color. The second I saw these pants, I immediately knew I had to have them. Statement pants are truly so versatile—you can take them from daytime-casual to nighttime-chic just by adding a stylish top and some little black heels. Here, I paired them with a cozy knit sweater, a shacket, and some chunky boots for the perfect fall look."

"I love lazy outfits that punch above their weight. This is exactly the kind of tailored, casual look I go for on a weekday when I need to be comfortable hustling around the city but still give the appearance of 'A Person Who Works in Fashion.' Street style images prove I've worn iterations of this wide-leg-trousers-and-sneakers outfit every fall for as long as I can remember, just with little seasonal refreshes: The stripe of pink is an easy nod to 2022's buzziest color trend, and puddle pants are definitely such a key style this fall. PS: When everything's a little oversized, I like a smaller, structured bag to balance it out and keep things feeling polished."
