The Swimsuit Color You Feared Is Now a Full-Blown Trend

It's been a long winter but the end is in sight, which means that it's definitely not too soon to start educating yourself on the 2018 swimwear trends, and one of our favorite brands, Solid & Striped, is here to help with that. Today, it introduced its biggest campaign yet, cleverly coined Swim Team. Featuring 13 major models (as in Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk, Jourdan Dunn, and Carolyn Murphy, to name a few) wearing swimsuits that they designed themselves, each of which embodies the wearers' personality and aesthetic.

The incredibly chic campaign, which was styled by Carine Roitfeld, made it clear that Solid & Striped is paving the way for a major swimwear trend this season: white swimsuits. Each of the suits in the collection is available in a creamy white hue (among other shades). While we've surely encountered plenty of unforgiving see-through white swimsuits, this collection proves that the polarizing color can be completely wearable, flattering, and opaque. And given the brand's trendsetting tendencies, we fully expect that white swimwear will be everywhere in a matter of months.

Check select shots from the campaign, as well as our favorite white swimsuits from the collection, below.
