November and December are arguably the busiest months of the year for your social calendar. After all, there are holiday parties with family, festive drinks with co-workers, Secret Santa gatherings with your closest friends… With so many different occasions to dress for, what’s a girl to wear? After all, an ensemble that’s appropriate for Friendsgiving might not be ideal for Thanksgiving with your S.O.’s family, and so on and so forth. To take at least some of the stress out of the season, we enlisted the help of fashion bloggers Lisa DiCicco Cahue, Merritt Beck, and Elizabeth Keene show you how to style festive outfits for every gathering you’ve RSVP’d to. And best of all, none of these looks rely on the tired clichés we’ve come to dread with the festive season.

The Friendsgiving Fête
DiCicco Cahue takes a more casual approach to party style, especially when it comes to events like Friendsgiving. “The holidays are about having fun and enjoying time with family and friends,” says the Mind Body Swag scribe, who started her blog back in 2014. “I love when my outfit is trendy and fun yet comfortable for holiday gatherings.” She achieves that with a sweater that has intricate lace-up details, ponte pants and pumps.
The Office Holiday Party
Texas-based blogger Merritt Beck of The Style Scribe formerly worked at a PR firm and for D magazine before starting her blog, so she knows a thing or two about office style. For a more corporate-feeling holiday party, Beck suggests steering clear of bold or embellished pieces and opting for a statement jacket, sleek cocktail pants, and a fun pair of heels. “These pants are so comfortable, and the fit is flattering and appropriate for the office,” she tells us.
The Secret Santa Gathering
Elizabeth Keene of A Keene Sense of Style advises a mix of cozy and glamorous for a secret Santa holiday party with friends. “While this outfit is sparkly, it also has a bit of a casual vibe,” says the L.A. blogger, who has been featured in magazines like Elle and Marie Claire. “Since some holiday parties are cocktail attire and some are more relaxed, this look would fit in well at either.”
