If clothes were medicine for the soul, then Peter Pilotto’s fall collection would surely cure us of all our sartorial ailments. We can always count on a Pilotto show for an infusion of bright, sumptuous bohemia into our fashion week, and this season is certainly no exception. It only took seconds of witnessing the composition of floral-print silks and palette of rich mustards and striking cobalts glide down the runway for us to be momentarily transported into this colorful dreamscape. Amid a global political climate that seems to be darkening by the day, such an imaginative take was a welcomed dose of serotonin for our eyes.
