How many times have you packed for a vacation at the last minute and forgotten something? If I'm being honest, it’s happened to me more times than I'd like to admit. It can even happen if you're one of those people who actually start packing well in advance (a characteristic I'm highly envious of, by the way). With so much to remember, it's just too easy to miss an item or two.
One way to avoid leaving an essential behind is to make a list every time you pack, but who has time for that before each trip? Not this editor. If I had to do that, I'd be making upward of 20 lists per year. That’s why today, I'm bringing you a complete packing list that can be used for any and every vacation or getaway. From clothing and accessories to toiletries, tech necessities, miscellaneous items, and even an optional section, see everything you need below and then continue on to shop the items. Don't forget to save, pin, or screenshot the list so that you have it on hand for future travels.

One of the easiest outfits to pack for vacation is a cool top and jeans.
Block heels are a great travel option because you can wear them from day to night.
When it comes to hair products, try to opt for mini sizes when possible.
These travel-friendly sizes won't take up unnecessary space in your toiletry bag.
I love how this sustainable tote is rife with details.
Even when I don't plan to exercise on a trip, I like to have a comfortable pair of leggings with me at all times.

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently senior market editor. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2020, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch 90 Day Fiancé.
