Finally, a Foolproof Way to Clean Faux Leather
If you’re a fashion fan who’s made the decision to embrace a vegan lifestyle, you’ve probably been snapping up a lot of faux-leather pieces this season. Leather and vegan leather are having a major moment, and it’s easy to see why, given all of the interesting silhouettes and finishes on offer. (Also, is it just us, or have designers truly truly nailed faux leather as of late?)
And now that you’ve added some animal-friendly pieces to your wardrobe, it’s only necessary that we tell you how to clean vegan leather. Happily, vegan leather is a hell of a lot easier to clean that genuine leather (one of the few materials that should only be taken to a professional cleaner). You can machine-wash most faux leather pieces on a cold cycle in a delicates bag. Just skip the dryer; instead, lay your them flat or hang them in order to maintain their shape.
Now that you know how to clean them, you’re ready to wear your vegan leather pieces all season long. Scroll down to shop our favorites on the market.
