Hailey Bieber Just Wore This “Dated” Shoe Trend With 2023's Chicest Dress
Channelling ‘90s minimalism in the best kind of way, Hailey Bieber just gave us a masterclass in pared-back styling whilst working in an unexpected twist.
Bieber has long been a fan of the strapless midi dress, often opting for the style for an easy date-night look. As a tried and true favourite, it was the shoes she paired with her strapless midi—which is one of the biggest dress trends of the year, we might add—that caught our attention.
As an avid fan of loafers, trainers, and strappy sandals, it’s rare that we spot Bieber in quintessentially ‘90s black court heels, a style we haven't seen much of lately, but one that's set to make a triumphant return for autumn (just look at our deep dive into autumn 2023's shoe trends for proof). Still, the surprising pairing proved to be the perfect addition to her look, balancing her dinner-ready outfit and leaning into the ‘90s trend.
Bieber brought her look right back to 2023 by styling her sleek strapless dress with cult-favourite Bottega drop earrings. Her hair and makeup also felt particularly fresh, as she sported a glowing complexion with a subtle feline flick.
The model championed the season's favourite brands, styling The Row's black Nita dress with her Bottega Veneta drop earrings, the latter of which sold out multiple times and now come in a range of shades including forest green and silver.
Bieber opted for the gold style, pairing them with a minimal necklace and an effortless side part. Chic? Absolutely. Easy to re-create? You know it. Scroll on to shop Hailey Bieber's '90s strapless-dress-and-court-shoes look.
