I've Completely Forgotten About Summer Thanks to These Fall Looks

We're wrapping up what felt like the busiest summer ever, and I'm finally getting that giddy feeling of shopping for my favorite season. Cozy sweaters! Cowboy boots! New dresses! The list goes on and on (and on), so before I spend my savings on a new fall wardrobe, I'm going to narrow down my picks and shop smart.

First, I'm turning to Rayya Ansari and Brenna Anastasia, two fashion influencers whom I follow closely for style inspiration. This year, the stylish duo is just as excited to kick off the fall season as I am, and they told me that they've been frequenting Saks Off 5th for their fashion finds. The go-to retailer has always been high on my list when looking for quality pieces at a lower price (up to 70% off every day!) , and this season is no different. Below, the two fashion influencers put together their favorite classic fall looks that are easy to wear and filled with brands that you know and love.

Second-Skin Tops + Slip Skirts

Although a second-skin top paired with a slip skirt arguably makes the easiest outfit, it also creates a classic fall look that fashion insiders have been turning to over the last few years. I am especially into bringing back the basics this season and opting for sleek blacks and muted browns a la Ansari. Wear both pieces together, or mix it up with other pieces—it's basically foolproof.

Straight-Leg Jeans + Ankle Boots

Maybe we're currently on a break with our skinny jeans, but that doesn't mean straight-leg jeans are totally out of the question. A denim and ankle-boot outfit for fall may feel predictable, but it's the 2021 details that count. With a distressed hem and vegan leather, this look is the updated version of the traditional fall uniform. Ansari, whose style typically veers toward chic and classic, is speaking to my soul with this outfit.

Wide-Leg Pants + High-Neck Tops

Tell me you're looking for a date-night 'fit without telling me you're looking for a date-night 'fit. I'll go first: I'm ready for the return of going-out tops. Give me a dramatic neck with a touch of shine any day of the week (plus the perfect pair of polished, high-waisted pants to tuck it into).

Neutral Dresses + Pumps

On cooler days, I'll style an oversize blazer with this slip-style dress. Pro tip: Use your layers and accessories to play with textures, and mix warm and cool neutral tones.
