I tend to keep my everyday makeup pretty simple. But when I see festive twinkling lights, gorgeous party dresses, and tons of holiday invites coming in, it inspires me to add a bit more oomph when I'm getting ready. On top of that, my other beauty-loving friends have been asking me for festive makeup ideas. So to spark my creativity, I treated myself to some new makeup from QVC. This is my go-to makeup combo. The real MVP behind this look is a tinted moisturizer—it's the key to achieving dewy, airbrushed-looking skin without having to cake on a ton of makeup. I also use some pretty pink blush on my cheeks and even dust some on my nose and eyes as well. I put on some mascara to lengthen the lashes, add a swipe of tinted lip balm for that my-lips-but-better look, and I'm done.

Inspired by the latte makeup trend, this look focuses on sun-kissed skin and soft browns. My top tip to easily achieve tan skin (even when there's snow outside) is to mix bronzing drops with your SPF. I also use a milk chocolate bronzer to softly contour my cheeks, nose, jawline, and eyelids. Snatched brows and light pink liner on the waterline draw extra attention to the eyes.

When I want to step it up a little bit, I'll do winged eyeliner. I'll be honest: Even for a beauty vet like myself, this technique can be difficult to nail. If you mess up (like I often do), all you have to do is dip a cotton swab in makeup remover, and boom—it's fixed. I add a rosy, plumping gloss on my lips and a champagne highlighter to finish off the look.
