I Always Wear All Black, But These 30 Nordstrom New Arrivals Just Changed That
Any New Yorker will tell you that black is our go-to color. No matter the season, New York City can often look like a sea of chic black outfits. I'm definitely one of those New Yorkers. A good black dress has become my uniform, and no matter how many I have, I always find myself wanting to buy more. However, now that spring is here and summer is just around the corner, I've decided it's time to start adding a little color to the mix. I went to my go-to retailer, Nordstrom, to shop for colorful new dresses, shoes, and bags to help make my wardrobe brighter, happier, and less black. I found everything I was looking for (and more) among brands like Farm Rio, Staud, and Alice + Olivia.
These 30 pieces really stood out to me and are currently sitting in my cart. Keep scrolling to take a peek at which items made the cut.
A linen minidress is an absolute must-have for summer. This pistachio green one from Reformation is everything and more.
How adorable are these blue sandals? I could see myself wearing them with an all-white outfit.
Alice + Olivia never fails when it comes to bright minidresses.
I'd wear this dress with flat sandals and a raffia bag in the summer.
I've been really into orange lately. I have a feeling it will be the color I wear most this summer.
This isn't the type of dress I normally go for, but I'm so into it for some reason.
If anyone wants to know which designer bag I want right now, it's this one.
Okay, I know I said I was in love with this bag in blue, but I'm losing it over this orange color.
I love the corset details on this dress. I just got it in white, but the pink is gorgeous too.
The colors and the pattern on this dress are so summery and tropical. The open back is really what does it for me.
A crochet tote that's perfect for a day at the park or beach.
