But if you’ve already scoped out bridal boutiques with disappointing results, fear not—the search doesn’t end there. Based here in the UK, Tiffany Rose is an expert in special occasion maternity dressing and counts A-listers as well as royals among its clientele. Despite the star-studded fan club, however, its wedding dress collection is super affordable. Our favourites include the romantic Verona Gown, £199.

Etsy is a gold mine if you’re looking for something that’s a little more unique, especially if you’re leaning towards boho bridal styles. Much loved by the Duchess of Cambridge during her pregnancies, Séraphine also carries a small yet impressive wedding collection. We love this Grecian-inspired Multi-Way Gown, £255, which can be worn as a one-shouldered style or with the chiffon cap sleeves.

If you’re looking for something fairly traditional, try Spanish maternity label Paramamá. The brand ships internationally and offers an impressive collection of midpriced wedding dresses, from strapless gowns to short lace frocks. We’re big fans of this pretty cap-sleeve dress (£352).

Don’t be put off; Two Birds Bridesmaid may specialise in bridesmaid dresses, but the brand’s signature styles can be wrapped in endless ways to accommodate a growing bump and also come in cream or white. We’re fans of the Lace Ball Gown, £350.

Perhaps not the first place you’d think of when wedding dress shopping, fashion label Little Mistress does a super-affordable, trend-led maternity collection with several bridal-esque styles each season. The sequin bodice on this £65 high-neck maxi has caught our eye, and to make things even easier, you can shop via ASOS.

Another bridesmaid focused label, U.S.-based Dessy (you’ll find several UK stockists on its website) still has great options for brides who aren’t looking for traditional gowns. This strapless metallic gown is a perfect example, though it’s a tough choice between the silver and rose-gold versions. ■
