Over the years, blush has become part of my signature look and a topic of conversation at all the functions I attend. To no one's surprise, my blush collection is quite extensive, including liquid, cream, and powder formulas at different price points. But I must say, the competition is thick now that I've added SHEGLAM's viral Color Bloom Liquid Blush to my collection. It's the brand's most coveted and best-selling product, and it's only $6. Known for its highly pigmented color and lightweight gel-cream formula, the Color Bloom Liquid Blush now comes in 14 shades and is pretty hard to pass up. When the brand introduced three new shades—Real Deal, Hot Topic, and Cutie Pie—and upgraded to a sponge applicator for better application, I knew that our social media editor, Emma Hughes, would want to try them.

A fellow blush enthusiast and beauty trend buff, Emma says "SHEGLAM is the perfect destination for stocking up on makeup products." She always has her finger on the pulse, ready to dive into the latest and greatest products, so adding SHEGLAM to her roster was a no-brainer. This cruelty-free brand is Leaping Bunny certified, so it doesn't use animal testing in any stage of its product development—a rare find in the world of affordable beauty. According to Emma, "You can't go wrong by treating yourself to a new product—or two, or five." I fully agree with that sentiment, so I'm sharing Emma's review of these high-quality, pigmented, and blendable formulas below.

"I would describe my everyday makeup routine, and more specifically my summer 2024 beauty mood, as dewy, fresh, and natural. I feel like Real Deal is the easiest shade to throw on for an easy, summery, everyday makeup look. That's why I paired it with bare skin, mascara, and a simple pink gloss. It makes me look perfectly flushed. I'd wear this shade practically anywhere, but it's perfect for the office, a coffee date, running errands, and even the gym (if you're into that)." — Emma Hughes, Social Media Editor

"I'm loving the sunburnt blush trend: You apply a bright coral or pink shade to the bridge of your nose, temples, and cheeks to mimic where the sun would naturally tint your skin. Hot Topic is absolutely perfect for achieving this look since it's a summery, pink-coral shade. It's like a strawberry daiquiri in a blush. It's bright, glamorous, and fun, so I added a sparkly eye, glossy lip, and tons of bronzer. I'd wear this during sunset on the beach while sipping my Aperol spritz and taking golden-hour photos." — Hughes

"Cutie Pie is such a beautiful, muted, moody shade, so I wanted to create a monochromatic makeup look that felt more suitable for nighttime. This shade would absolutely be my go-to for a summer date night in the city. I love to apply a dab of blush onto the back of my hand and then apply it to my cheeks with a damp beauty blender. This blush formula is super pigmented, but I like to apply light layers as needed because, really, can you ever have too much blush?" — Hughes
