You probably already know Tretorn as the Swedish purveyor of stylish rubber boots. But to celebrate its 125th anniversary, the brand is updating its sneaker collection with sporty retro lace-up styles that incorporate clean, crisp, and precise Scandinavian styling elements. One notable fan of the sneakers is Natalie Off Duty’s Natalie Suarez, who styles them with a one-shoulder circle top, cropped denim flares, and a vintage circle bag.
“I literally call this look ‘party on top, casual on the bottom,’” Suarez says. “It’s rare I find sneakers that I absolutely love, ones that are sleek, classic, and a bit vintage. As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized that less is more. You never need to over-style anything.” We completely agree. See Suarez’s styling tips come to life in the photos below.
White sneakers are so classically Swedish and Scandinavian. They just ooze cool the moment you wear them. I liked how I switched them up with a really high-fashion blouse but my everyday jeans.
Of course, these sneakers would look awesome in a classic Scandinavian look: high-waisted oversize trousers, a structured top, and a leather jacket. Easy and a bit more tomboy.
I love how fashion is embracing ‘dressing down’ look. It’s so much cooler to be that effortless girl at the party who’s wearing a stellar look dressed down with a cool pair of kicks.
