The Ugg Slippers That Are Perfect for Travel (Seriously)

Ask anyone which style of Uggs they'd be most likely to travel in and they'd probably say the Classic Short Boots. Ask us what the best Ugg shoe to travel in is, and we might have to respectfully disagree, after seeing Rita Ora's Instagram post yesterday. For the warmer months at least, we don't recommend wearing a pair of the shearling-lined boots for travel. Which is why we were intrigued that Ora's Ugg shoes of choice for a flight were a pair of the brand's Scuffette II Slippers, which resemble a backless mule (which is very on-trend, we might add). The easy-on, easy-off slippers will be a blessing when rushing through airport security, and the water-resistant, sheepskin-lined Scuffettes are suitable for light outdoor wear, according to the product description. And as if all of that weren't convincing enough, the slippers have hundreds of five-star reviews on Ugg, Zappos, and Nordstrom, which praise their comfort.

Ora paired the $85 slippers with a pajama-dressing look and baseball cap for her flight. While her look may be a bit literal for most, if you want to wear slippers to the airport without looking like you're actually wearing slippers, consider your search complete. Just pair them with a polished look, in case you want to avoid looking like you actually just rolled out of bed. We'd recommend a pair of skinny jeans with stretch (we love this pair) and an oversize denim jacket over a tee.
