Beyoncé Interviewed Solange for a New Magazine Spread (and We Learned So Much)

It's no secret that Beyoncé and Solange Knowles are a powerhouse duo, so naturally we wouldn't turn down the chance to get an insider's look at their relationship. For Solange Knowles's new Interview magazine cover, she chose none other than Beyoncé to interview her—and the result, as you can imagine, was insanely inspiring and informative.

Solange broke the news on her Instagram, explaining why the story is so meaningful to her. “After interviewing my mother and father for A Seat at the Table, it feels like full circle to have chosen my sister to interview me for Interview magazine," she captioned her post. "Spoke about womanism, growing up in a hair salon, and choosing between 'I could fall in love' and 'No Me Queda Mas.' It is one of my favorite talks to date."

In their conversation, we learned a lot about their upbringing and their sister dynamic—"You were the most patient, loving, wonderful sister ever," Solange said. And when asked about her inspiration for her music, Solange credited their mom: "As far back as I can remember, our mother always taught us to be in control of our voice and our bodies and our work, and she showed us that through her example."

Oh, and we even learned something Beyoncé never knew about her sister: That Solange watches The Real Housewives of Atlanta religiously! Head over to Interview to read the full chat.
