Zara Dropped Its New Collection at Midnight—and This Was Our Reaction

Meet Lauren, Who What Wear's fashion editor and co-founder of The Devils Wear Zara. Lauren is so obsessed with Zara that we started calling her The Zara Scout. Now she's turning the nickname into a franchise so she can regularly share her insider knowledge of the brand, including all her hacks, secrets, and must-haves with you.

In case you missed my extremely honest mini novel on my obsession with Zara, you can take a gander here. One glance at my strange passion for the brand will prep you for the giddy texts you're about to read between my co-worker (and BFF) Mimi Postigo and me. Mimi is a social editor here at Who What Wear, and when she first started, we immediately realized we were destined to be friends due to our freakish obsession with Zara, which is why we started an Instagram account called The Devils Wear Zara to basically justify all our excessive Zara purchases.

In true accordance with our unhealthy Zara shopping habits, we had been anticipating the drop of the brand's new City Lights collection and editorial thanks to a few hints here and there that we found on the site. Well, it finally launched last night at midnight, and simply put, we are not okay. A furious texting conversation broke out between Mimi and me, and we thought it was the best way to share our true (unfiltered) feelings about the new pieces. Here, you'll find a few of our favorite items, our hesitancy with a few others, and some embarrassing insights into our weird friendship.

Go on to read the texts that reveal our true feelings about Zara's City Lights collection, and to view and shop the full editorial.
