Emma Roberts Wore the Sneakers We All Basically Want

Move over, Adidas Stan Smith and Superstar sneakers, because Gazelles are having a moment. Emma Roberts strolled through the airport in a casual all-black ensemble grounded by a pair of the cool, bright red classics.

The sneakers originated in 1966 and relaunched in 1991, again in the early 2000s—boasting a more narrow toe under Gazelle OG—and for the third time last year with Kate Moss as a spokesperson. Emma Roberts joins celebrities like Selena Gomez and Meghan Markle in embracing the newest iteration of the Gazelle style, which maintains its signature three white stripes and comes in 53 different colors. Roberts's approach to the look was smart and fresh: The scarlet pair seamlessly coordinated with her camel trench and infused the right amount of color into her black tee-and-skinnies combo.
