MADE, a major fashion, skate, and music event which launched in San Francisco, is headed our way this weekend. If you’re based in Sydney, you’re in luck. The event will be held at Carriageworks in Eveleigh (same venue as Fashion Week Australia) from November 12 – 13. Over the course of two days, you can visit and see a range of activations including pop-up stores selling exclusive product. At the center of MADE Sydney will be a replica of the now-demolished San Francisco skateboard spot, Hubba Hideout, which will be open to skateboarders, but more excitingly for fashion-lovers, will be the set for the first-ever fashion show by Paris-based label Faith Connexion (a brand loved by Kim Kardashian West).
How we’d spend our perfect weekend at MADE Sydney? We’d pop down on Saturday afternoon to see The High Life: Slim Aarons photo exhibit, then stick around for the Faith Connexion show at 6 p.m. On Sunday? We’ll grab a coffee then spend the morning perusing the pop-up shops, including Double Rainbouu, Daisy, Faith Connexion, and Emma Mullholland (who has created an exclusive tee just for the event with only 100 available).
