NYC Girls Are Obsessed With This Capsule

There's an obvious appeal to a capsule wardrobe: It's easy. With the stress of work, family, and even managing to get a real dinner (read: not cereal) on the table, sometimes you just want fashion to be easy. Hence the genius of Christine Centenera and Josh Goot's clothing line Wardrobe.NYC. The duo just dropped their second release, featuring 10 sport-adjacent pieces (in every New Yorker's favorite hue: black) that you buy all together as a capsule.

While the first collection from the duo focused on tailored items, this time they tackled activewear with what they describe as "a focus on functionality, versatility, and specialized detail" in a press release. And while the clothes are all black (a signature for the brand and an easy styling trick), to round out the collection is a contrasting pair of white sneakers designed in partnership with Adidas.

The luxury capsule is designed in New York City and is entirely produced in Italy with the intention of working equally well for both everyday wear and for working out. The pieces are effortless and encapsulate the sleek uniform style that has set Centenera (and her list of styling clients—from Kim Kardashian West to Cate Blanchett) apart. Read on for a look at the collection, and then shop it for yourself.
