Visionaries Haim

Danielle, Alana, and Este Haim grew up in Los Angeles, and the sisters were destined for careers in the music industry from day one. The siblings spent their formative years learning how to play instruments, and they made their debut as the band Haim in 2007. Prior to this, Danielle toured with Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, playing guitar and percussion for his solo performances. The trio achieved recognition after the release of their EP, Forever, in 2012, along with a positive reception for their South by Southwest performances that same year. Not long after, the girls were being managed by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and signed to Polydor Records. After the release of their full-length debut, Days Are Gone, in 2013, they were nominated as Best New Artist at the Grammys, and last summer, they opened several shows for Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour.
