Victoria Beckham is supporting her husband's partnership with British menswear label Kent & Curwen in the most surprising—yet wonderfully Victoria—way: by stepping out in pieces from the new collection. David Beckham has joined forces for the second time with the brand's creative director, Daniel Kearns, acting as a business partner and muse. While there's no talk of expanding into womenswear, Victoria Beckham is on board with the classic suiting and men's furnishings.
"Daniel has even made me a version of the pleat-front pants," said the designer, gesturing to her husband's slacks while speaking with WWD at the brand's fall presentation during London Fashion Week Men's, "and a few shirts too." This isn't her first time suiting up in menswear-inspired pieces. Throughout her career, first as a pop star now fashion designer, Victoria Beckham has regularly stepped out in tailored blazers, fitted suits, and oversize overcoats. More and more laid-back dressing and reworking timeless silhouettes in forward ways has become her signature.
