There once was a time when it was virtually impossible to imagine Victoria Beckham in any style of footwear besides heels. During the Spice Girl era, her Posh persona was never seen without sky-high stilettos, and even post–Posh Beckham favored heels for all occasions. Then, early last year, Beckham declared to The Telegraph , "I just can't do heels anymore. At least not when I'm working. I travel a lot. Clothes have to be simple and comfortable." Her newfound prioritization of comfort has manifested itself in tailored menswear-inspired pants, oversize sweaters, and of course flat footwear.
The fashion designer has especially rekindled her love for sneakers as of late, stepping out in a series of casual styles that she effortlessly integrates into her polished wardrobe. Yesterday she shared a peek of her latest pair in an Instagram Story, captioning a shot of brand-new black-and-white Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Zebra sneakers with "My new work out trainers were a hit with the kids!" A couple shots later in the Story, she debuted a new pair of flats from her own eponymous collection. Though the pointed-toe leather loafers were distinctly more elevated than her workout shoes, the idea was one and the same—comfortable but fashionable.
