One thing we're always happy to celebrate at Who What Wear is the range of talented women who are making waves in the fashion industry. From designers to creative directors, there are so many inspiring women spearheading their own awesome projects. So, when Veda shared the details of their recent campaign, we were instantly on board. For their spring 17 collection, Veda did a special shoot in Central Park, styling its cool leather jackets and bold seasonal staples with pieces from other female-powered brands.
"VEDA is a 100% women-owned-and-operated company," noted creative director Lyndsey Butler. "We wanted to do a shoot that empowered women and brought together a talented group of lady friends." Model Brianna Cherniak wears earrings by designers Laura Lombardi and Andrea Smith and shoes by Marais (designed by the ultra-stylish Haley Boyd).
Read on for a peek at the shoot, and give these spring styling ideas a try!
Too cold for a dress on its own? Try pairing with pants underneath.
Balance out bright stripes with a pair of sleek wide-leg pants.
Dress down your leather basics with a white tee and a red bandana.
Make a splash with a bold dress paired with socks and loafers.
Try a suede jacket over a dress for something a little more lighthearted than classic leather.
