To celebrate Who What Wear UK's 10th birthday, we had to take a look back at the most iconic fashion week moments that have captivated us over the past decade. Over the years, we've seen it all, having attended countless runway shows in London, Paris, Milan and New York, reviewed numerous collections and revelled in (and shopped!) the biggest trends each season brought. What fun!

Our all-seeing fashion eye has picked apart every show from 2015 till now, and we've curated the best-of list. From the return of '90s supermodels at Versace to an endless pink runway at Jacquemus and seeing double at Gucci, there have been so many jaw-dropping moments, but only 10 could make the cut. It's not up for debate: these are the 10 most iconic runway shows of the past 10 years. Let's get into it!

The 10 Most Iconic Fashion Runways from the Past Decade

1. Chanel A/W 17

Karl Lagerfeld's tenure at Chanel delivered so many iconic moments, and one of the most impressive shows in recent memory was staged at Paris's famous Grand Palais. From a hyper-real supermarket to a man-made beach and an Arctic landscape to a Parisienne brasserie, nothing was too ambitious for Lagerfeld's wild imagination. Our favourite, however, was the space-station set for the women's autumn/winter 2017 show, complete with a Chanel-emblazoned rocket ship, which seemingly took off through the ceiling as models wore NASA-inspired looks. Think silver glittery boots, classic boucle twin sets and galaxy-print dresses as Elton John's "Rocket Man" played through the speakers. Beyond!

2. Versace S/S 18

Donatella Versace is undoubtedly one of the most legendary figures in fashion. For the House of Versace's spring/summer 2018 show, she honoured her late brother and House founder, Gianni, presenting a collection that played to his iconic prints, use of gold and sexy silhouettes; with a finale that saw a whole host of supermodels pay homage. Striding down the runway herself, Versace was joined by Carla Bruni, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Helena Christensen, harking back to George Michael's hit song "Freedom! '90" and its accompanying music video, in which many of these supers featured. Nothing will ever come close to this heartfelt and special moment.

3. Jacquemus S/S 20

Simon Porte Jacquemus started his eponymous label in 2009, dedicated to his late mother. The virility of his designs skyrocketed him into mainstream popularity, with playful handbags, enormous hats and skin-revealing ready-to-wear. For his spring/summer 2020 show, the brand's 10th anniversary collection, Jacquemus staged a co-ed runway show within the lavender fields of the French countryside, a couple of miles from his childhood home. Models strutted down a seemingly endless carpet of fuchsia pink, flanked by rows of purple lavender—both hues are synonymous with the brand. Mixing colour-pop brights, muted neutrals, printed scenic landscapes and watercolour florals, the show and its collection were completely and utterly striking and cemented Jacquemus' place in the fashion, social and pop-culture spaces. Needless to say, we were tickled pink!

4. Loewe A/W 22

Since Jonathan Anderson took the creative director reins at Loewe in 2013, with a tenure lasting a whopping 11 years, things were never again the same. Embuing art, craft and high-concept design into all of his collections for the House, the Irish designer has not only become a (fashion) household name, but has managed to firmly place Loewe at the top of the list of the most desirable designer labels of now. For the brand's spring/ summer 2022 show, he employed surrealist shapes, extreme drapery, backwards-worn garments and high-shine metal breastplates. Accessories, too, tapped into pop-art themes, with heels resembling roses, birthday-cake candles and broken eggs. Not only was this collection extremely directional, forward-thinking and fun, but it was also super wearable. Kendall Jenner gave this it serious celebrity kudos when she was famously spotted in one of the jersey tank dresses, with an all-over digital print of fuzzy colours.

5. Miu Miu S/S 22

When Miu Miu launched its spring/summer 2022 collection, you couldn't walk a mile without seeing one of its looks on the cover of every magazine on the stands of your local newsagent or supermarket. The collection was applauded for its preppy suiting, poplin shirts, cable knits, pleated twill skirts and flashes of logo-adornded lingerie, many pieces of which were slashed and cut to show off abs, legs and undies, in typical bad-school-girl style. Mixing sexiness, structure, sportiness and pretty 3-D florals, this collection was a Miuccia classic. This is where the much-hyped New Balance sneaker collab was previewed, which has since become every influencer's favourite off-duty trainer of choice. Now, everyone, "Thank you, Mrs Prada!"

6. Bottega Veneta S/S 23

Matthieu Blazy had a brief but successful three-year stint at Bottega Veneta before moving to the powerhouse that is Chanel. His spring/summer 2023 show at Bottega was truly spectacular, tapping artist and architect Gaetano Pesce to craft a kaleidoscopic poured-resin floor and handmake around 400 unique chairs for guests, all of which have become collector's items. Some of the standout looks from the collection appeared quite simple and understated, but a closer look revealed many pieces crafted from soft, luxurious leather for a trompe-l'œil effect. Kate Moss's normcore outfit, consisting of a plaid shirt, white tank and jeans, also played with deception by tapping into the craving for quiet luxury at the time in an unexpected way. The look remains a mainstay on every fashion enthusiast's mood board to this day.

7. Gucci S/S 23

Only Alessandro Michele could send 68 pairs of identical twins down a runway. Yes, you read that correctly! Never one to miss an opportunity for theatricality and the wow-factor, Michele's time at Gucci was full of jaw-dropping moments that no one else could re-create if they tried (see the Aria, Love Parade and Cosmogonie collections). The Twinsburg show of spring/summer 2023 stunned guests and fans alike. Models took to the runway in typical Michele fashion (think decadent prints, pussy-bows, monogram handbags, '80s suiting and bucket-loads of sequins)—but double it. Only at the show's finale did the curtain rise to reveal the paired looks and their twin models, who came together in single file holding hands. Inspired by Michele's mother and her twin sister, this show was mesmerising and mind-bogglingly good.

8. Simone Rocha S/S 24

Simone Rocha debuted her eponymous line at London Fashion Week in September 2010. 15 years on, and the label is still one of the biggest, most exciting moments on the fashion month calendar, and always the hottest ticket in town. Known for her subversive yet pretty collections, full of pearl, ribbon and lace adornments, Rocha has become a celebrity favourite, with the likes of Alexa Chung, Bel Powley and Fiona Shaw lining up to wear her collections on the red carpet and have their turn on the runway for her. The spring/summer 2024 show featured pink roses throughout, some held by models and some sewn into the bodices of dresses. Sarah Jessica Parker wore a dress-and-coat ensemble from this very collection in an episode of And Just Like That..., further cementing Rocha's merit in the fashion sphere and wider public eye.

9. Maison Margiela S/S 24

Celebrated designer John Galliano's final show at Maison Margiela, after 10 years as creative director at the esteemed house, was the talking point of many a fashion and beauty group chat for weeks after it was presented. A little X-rated and a lot of exoticism (Galliano's potent combination), models danced, staggered and gingerly stepped through the underbelly of Paris's streets, inspired by the images of Hungarian–French photographer Brassaï. The haute couture spring/ summer 2024 collection featured corsets, sheer dresses and 1920s doll-like suits, with Pat McGrath's famous painterly makeup set with a spray lacquer to give a high-shine, glass-skin finish. Gwendoline Christie's marionette-like walk for the finale look was like poetry in motion. Truly unforgettable.

10. Saint Laurent S/S 25

Anthony Vaccarello has been nothing short of a hit-maker for Saint Laurent since his spring/summer 2017 debut, crafting a vision which is at once sexy, desirable and classic. It has become one of the most illustrious, trend-setting brands on the planet, and celebs and shoppers can't get enough. The spring/summer 2025 show meant serious business, with an array of sharp, exaggerated suits, complete with shirts, ties and '80s eyewear, resembling the brand's famed founder, Yves. Nostalgic but modern, dapper but wearable, stars such as Elsa Hosk and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have since been spotted wearing these ensembles, fresh from the runway. Bella Hadid's black suit-and-tie combo was a standout, serving classic power suit. Hot!

It’s my job to spot emerging cult-buys the moment they land, and this afternoon, my radar lit up when Jacquemus and Nike’s hotly anticipated Moon Shoes finally dropped on the Jacquemus site.

Marking the fourth footwear collaboration between the two powerhouses, the trainer reimagines the original Moon Shoe silhouette through a Jacquemus lens, nodding to the design’s racing origins whilst incorporating a ballet-inspired refinement. Complete with a low profile and ruched detailing, this silhouette taps into several of this season’s biggest trainer trends. Available in butter yellow, red and classic black, and priced at £165, this feels like the silhouette destined to take off this autumn.

3 Ways to Style Jacquemus X Nike's Moon Shoes

1. Colour-Blocking With a Cosy Knit

Style Notes: Colour-blocking is one of my favourite trends this season, so weaving the butter yellow Moon Shoes into a tonal outfit felt like a no-brainer. Grounded with contrasting chocolate-brown layers and accessories, the look feels thoroughly modern yet easy enough for all-day wear.

2. With Casual Tailoring

Style Notes: Black trainers are the most versatile of the trainers in my wardrobe, and I love dressing them up with sleek, tailored trousers. A boxy white tee softens the polish, whilst a studded belt adds interest, creating a smart--casual outfit that looks considered without trying too hard.

3. With a Pop of Red

Style Notes: Sometimes all an outfit needs is a hit of colour, and the red Moon Shoes are the perfect injection. Pair them with dark-wash jeans and a sharp black wool coat for an elevated yet effortless take on autumn dressing.

You'll never hear me say a bad word about black heels. In my closet live about 20 pairs of heels, and if I had to guess, I'd say that 85% of them are black. But just because they're good—timeless, versatile and easy—doesn't mean that you should only wear or buy black heels. There are other, more exciting colours to test out, and in France this summer, everyone seems to be in agreement that one shoe colour alternative to black is especially worth styling with white dresses. The hue in question? Burgundy.

For proof, just see some of the chicest looks from the Jacquemus show at the Palace of Versailles during Paris Fashion Week. In particular, both Laura Harrier and Alexandra Saint Mleux styled their white dresses with burgundy heels, a perfectly unexpected way to wear every French girl's favourite summer frock. Unlike black and white, which can end up looking harsh together, burgundy is softer and more natural, making it a prettier complement for bright white. Bonus points if your bag is burgundy too.

On Laura Harrier: Jacquemus dress and shoes

Specifically, Harrier and her longtime stylist, Danielle Goldberg, chose a textured, high-neck, sleeveless maxi dress from the French label, pairing it with a burgundy, leather top-handle bag and matching point-toe kitten heels with a delicate bow on the toe. She completed the ensemble with a pair of '90s-inspired black sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Mleux, who watched the Monaco Grand Prix alongside Jacquemus founder Simon Porte Jacquemus earlier this summer, wore a low-back, scoop-neck white gown with peekaboo burgundy heels. She then added oversized gold earrings and a sculptural black clutch purse.

It's officially summer, well nearly, but holiday shopping is at the forefront of our minds, and although we're only halfway through the year, we've already uncovered some season-defining fashion trends for summer 2023. From cult-favourite sandals to statement sunglasses, this summer is already shaping up to be a stylish one, but if you are an accessory-minded shopper like me, there's one trend that you'll have found impossible to ignore over the last few months–raffia.

From Alberta Ferretti to Jacquemus, raffia has been big on the runway for the last couple of years, and some of this season's most coveted buys have been the raffia bags and shoes that infuse cool, directional design with low-key beach mentality. Think kicking back on the beach with an oversized sun-hat or treading through the sand in an espadrille. Sound good? Thought so. 

As soon as Prada's tote bags were introduced last year they were almost impossible to buy because they instantly sold out. (Don't worry, they're back this season in fresh new colourways, but still in equally high demand). And more recently, Sofia Richie Grainge was spotted with one on her honeymoon, and if that doesn't reaffirm a trend I don't know what does. Designers like Loewe, Khaite, and Bottega Veneta have also introduced raffia pieces that are selling out everywhere, but thankfully, you can snap up equally great finds at accessible price points too, so don't rule out COS, H&M and Zara quite yet. RAFFIA ON THE RUNWAY

Style Notes: Leave it to Alberta Ferretti to come up with a look that includes raffia, crochet, shells and sandals. A strong contender for the ultimate beach outfit. 

Style Notes: It's impossible to discuss reinvented raffia without mentioning Jacquemus. If it wasn't for that hat that kickstarted his career, we wouldn't the 2023 update. But more on that later. 

Style Notes: Playing up raffia's artisanal charm, Dior's full look makes the most of its texture and versatility. Raffia isn't just about bags, after all. 

Style Notes: Turns out you can make raffia evening appropriate. All you need is gauzy layers of sheer mesh, sandals, and some very statement jewellery.

Style Notes: A basket bag like this is always beach ready, especially when paired with a woven cover up. 

Style Notes: A bikini and linen trousers is always a solid, summer outfit, but Emily Ratajkowski takes it to new levels with Jaquemus' unforgettable supersized hat.

Up Next, The Summer 2023 Shopping Guide: Where to Buy the Biggest Trends of the Season

No matter how much I try to keep my legs bare and cling to my warm-weather wardrobe, the reality is that autumn is on its way. Before I know it, cosy knits and jeans will be my daily uniform once again. New-season knitwear is always the first thing to hit the shop floors in September, and right now, whether you're heading out to shop IRL or browsing online, jumpers and cardigans are available by the bucketload. Of course, whenever there's an influx of a certain piece, it's important to determine which styles are worth it. And that's where I come in.

Last winter, we saw the rise in popularity of the striped—or Breton—knit. Aided by influencers curating their monochromatic grids, American designer Totême created a cult following for a Breton sweater in any shape or form. Its oversized polo-neck sold out many times, but if you missed it the first time around, fear not—its back again this season. The industry's love for head-to-toe colour has definitely influenced all the new jewel-toned numbers on the high street this season, and if you want to channel your inner Jennifer Lopez circa 1999, the '90s cropped cardigan is back in its most unapologetic form. (Think lurex textures and peekaboo buttons.)

1. FLUFFY KNITS

The cosiest of fluffy jumpers are having a moment both on the high street and in the collections of key designers like Totême and Marni. The colour palette of these snuggly knits is grown-up and elegant—cream, tobacco and grey marl are dominating. But Marni has also throw in some colour for good measure. Pair one of these knits with your go-to jeans or leggings and boots for a stylish everyday outfit.

2. JEWEL-TONE KNITS

Rich, jewel-like tones have replaced softer pastels this autumn, and they definitely pack a punch. In contrast to the monochrome stripes and classic taupe funnel-neck jumpers that have become a firm fixture in the wardrobes of Instagram's best dressed, vibrant shades from ruby to sapphire to citrine finally offer something for the maximalists out there. Wear with matching separates in contrasting textures such as leather or tailored wool trousers, and add chunky gold earrings for polish.

3. STRIPED KNITS

It was virtually impossible to miss the Totême striped-jumper craze that filled our Insta feeds last winter. The simple A-line sweater became one of the cult buys of the season, and despite its saturation of the market, it's back once again. The high street has become one of the best places to buy into this look: Arket's nautical wide-collared Breton and Zara's navy zip-up sweater are two key shapes to pick up.

4. '90S KNITS

Not all knitwear serves its most obvious purpose—keeping us warm—but who cares when you can look as good as you will in one of these '90s-inspired peekaboo cardis? It's just one of many '90s trends to be making a comeback this season, and whether or not you wear something underneath is up to you. Fashion lovers Kendall Jenner, Chiara Ferragni and Leonie Hanne have all been spotted in the teensy-weensy cardigans from Jacquemus. However, there are several more affordable versions (ahem, the button-down cardigan by Mango) that cover a little more flesh. Go the whole whack and style with a pair of this season's cargo pants and add polish with a pair of pointy slingbacks.

5. GRANNY KNITS

Sometimes your trusty black cashmere jumper won't be the one you want to reach for. For autumn/winter 2022, the oversized cardigan has been reworked in many iterations. Last season, Gucci was one of the first to revamp this classic, adorning this oversized cardigan in jumbo GG logos. Not only has the brand revisited it again in acid brights, but other designers have followed suit. My favourites include a collegiate-inspired number from Maje and Mango's diamond-shaped print. I will be layering this style over leggings and with riding boots when the temperature drops.

If ever there was a swimwear season for travel restrictions to be reduced and our suitcases to reflect the excitement, it is this year—2022's swimwear trends are ready to go. I am a self-confessed swimwear obsessive and after over a decade as a buying director for my own swimwear business, I’m always on the lookout for the next big designers and trends. I’m always asked why I love swimwear so much, and to be honest it just kind of happened. I have so many beautiful memories of dreamy summers spent on the beach with my family in Puglia growing up so for me swimwear is synonymous with being happy and having fun—I always felt my most confident in the sun and that was mostly down to the swimwear I picked up on shopping trips with my mother. Then there's the fact a bikini or swimsuit can have a longer life than many other fashion purchases—in fact, most swimwear styles rarely date and if you buy well, you will hold onto pieces for years to come.

But how to know which styles will actually suit your body shape? Well, that takes a little practice with trying on different styles to see what suits your own body. If you’re a swimwear rookie sometimes the best way is to order a selection of styles to try on at home and see what works and what you feel most comfortable in. Style Notes: You can expect any item worn by Hailey Beiber to garner instant search power given that she has over 36 million followers. The model was spotted in Jacquemus's Le Bob Artichaut bucket hat earlier this summer, no doubt helping the item to secure third spot on the Lyst index. 

4. Prada Organic Denim Top

Style Notes: This denim bra top by Prada was spotted on Emily Ratajkowski about a month ago and simultaneously became one of the coolest items on Instagram, worn by in-the-know influencers the world over. It's one of the newer items on the list yet still managed to secure fourth spot. 

5. Marine Serre Fuseaux Moonfish Leggings

Style Notes: Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, Kylie Jenner, and more—is there a celebrity who hasn't been spotted in Marine Serre? The label's Moonfish leggings garnered fifth place on the list and unsurprisingly seem to have sold out across stockists online.

Style Notes: The Attico's zebra-print bikini, which is number six on the list, is another item that's proving impossible to track down online. However, given it was worn by Hailey Bieber on vacay in Greece and Dua Lipa in a recent music video, what can you expect?

Style Notes: While Versace's under-the- sea–themed collection has been worn by a number of celebrities, Emily Ratajkowski's holiday wardrobe likely had the biggest impact across social media, helping the brand's swimsuit to secure the number eight spot.

Style Notes: Debuted on the digital runway by Bella Hadid, Mugler's bodysuits have also been worn by Doja Cat, Kylie Jenner, Miley Cyrus and more, securing the item the ninth spot on the list. 

10. Rodarte Daisy-Print Dress

Style Notes: Although this was quite the departure from her usual aesthetic, Kendall Jenner's turn in this Rodarte number garnered her 9.5 million likes on Instagram and helped the item earn the 10th spot on Lyst's hottest products roundup.

While you don't necessarily have to wear underwear underneath your clothing, it's generally accepted as the done thing. With plenty of excellent no-VPL knickers out there, as well as barely-there thongs, the need to go commando has almost been rendered obsolete. Unless you fancy it, that is. However, thanks to the new cult dress that's sweeping the fashion scene, you might have to reconsider your allegiance to your lingerie. 

Over the last few months, I've noticed more and more influencers wearing dresses and skirts with cutout sides, nearly all of which come from one particular brand; Marcia. 

Launched in 2019, the French sustainable fashion brand began to catch the eye of those in the know with its daring designs last year, and its popularity is showing no signs of slowing this spring. While it also boasts an array of trousers and tops, and other dresses for that matter, the pieces that are helping Marcia make its mark on the industry are the Tchikiboum dress and skirt, both of which boast exposed sides.

Speaking of the design, its creator Emma Reynaud reveals, "I wanted to create a silhouette and design that wasn't the answer to the masculine diktat."

Now, you could absolutely style them over trousers or, as Reynaud suggests, "a pair of biker shorts and sneakers," but many are favouring to wear them on their own, sans knickers, thus igniting the no-knickers fashion trend. The big question is, are you prepared to go knickerless to wear one? Personally, I'm for it. 

Ingrained in my memory is the episode of Friends where Rachel takes so long to get ready, but then she emerges in an incredible sage green dress and reveals that, yes, she's going commando. It's confident and empowering and, thanks to the high necklines and midi hemlines on Marcia's Tchikiboum dress, it still feels classy. Plus, after almost a year of wearing joggers and jumpers, I'm certainly in need of some excitement in the wardrobe department. My only concern would be regarding the miniskirt. Could you actually wear it without the worry of having, well, revealing more than you'd like? Perhaps I'll build up to it. Failing that you can, of course, wear them with underwear underneath, akin to the exposed bra strap vibe.

From extremely tiny handbags to architectural heels and oversize straw hats, over the years, there have been many trends that could be traced back to Simon Porte Jacquemus. The buzzy designer is a favourite amongst celebrities and influencers alike, having managed to start trends which capture the attention of the fashion crowd globally. 

And this summer is no different, as the designer can likely be credited for the style set's current obsession with bright pink blazers and suits. Jacquemus debuted its spring/summer 2020 collection last year amongst the idyllic backdrop of a lavender field the south of France. During the show, models walked down a vibrant pink runway that stretched over the horizon and while there were, of course, many noteworthy looks debuted that day, one of the most-talked-about items was undoubtedly the designer's boxy pink blazer. 

Having solidified the bold colour as one of the shades of the season, it comes as no surprise then that other brands followed suit and began creating pink blazers of their own. From Arket to H&M, the style has been seen all over the high-street garnering the attention of industry insiders. With Emili Sindlev in Arket's version and sister influencers Olivia and Alice sporting H&M's style, pink blazers seem to be the ultimate summer outerwear item this season.

Next up, the biggest S/S 20 fashion trends you need to know. 

The lockdown has provided endless challenges for businesses around the world, however, it has been amazing to see which brands have quickly innovated and thought of ways to carry on working while still closely following the restrictions. As photoshoots have now been cancelled, one of the main hurdles for fashion brands is how they can photograph their upcoming collections. Models are shooting campaigns by themselves on their sofas and photographers are transforming front rooms into makeshift studios.

One of the best solutions I've seen is Jacquemus' latest images, where the designer, Simon Porte Jacquemus, photographed his grandmother Liline among the spring blossom in France in his designs. It's the perfect snapshot for summer 2020 when family is top of mind for many—whether we're missing those we're close to or are quaratined with them. From now until March, catwalk images will land in my inbox on the hour, as there is a packed schedule of brands presenting what they have in store for autumn 2020. Like all fashion editors, I am always looking forward, but at Who What Wear we tend to write about what people are wearing now and what you can buy now, rather than in eight months' time. However, every so often a collection comes along that is so epic it instantly impacts how we want to dress. This happened this weekend with Jacquemus.

Simon Porte Jacquemus knows how to get the attention of the Instagram generation, whether that's via a mini bag that can house little else than a two pence coin or by installing a runway into a lavender field in Provence. This weekend's show once again caused a tidal wave on Instagram—and for a moment before Brad Pitt held Jennifer Aniston's wrist, my feed was filled with Bella and Gigi Hadid in Jacquemus linen.

The shareability of this collection had nothing to do with gimmicks but was simply down to how great the clothes looked. This is minimalism at its best, proving that simple outfits can make the same impact as any loud print or bold colour. The collection included many Jacquemus hero designs, such as backless dresses and statement sandals, but it felt innovative thanks to new styling twists and the biscuit, sage green and ivory colour palette.

Somewhere after the early '00s, shoulder bags got a little lost at the forefront of fashion. Once perfectly nestled in the armpit of every stylish lady—from Sarah Jessica Parker to Gabrielle Union—the shoulder bag was perhaps deemed too practical. So instead, we toted. We clutched. We belted our bags. We even carried baskets in the crook of our arms. Meanwhile, the humble shoulder bag waited patiently for a triumphant return.

When I told my flatmate that Vogue had declared "the best bag of the season is somewhere in between the length of a can of hairspray and a landline phone," she laughed. She told me that outside of fashion, shoulder bags haven't gone anywhere. Case in point? Lorelei Gilmore. She wore shoulder bags all the way through seven seasons of Gilmore Girls and the Netflix special. Now that's commitment.

But experts in the fashion world insist shoulder bags are only now making a comeback. My friend who is a buyer says, "We have seen the rise of the shoulder bag to go along with the recent trend of '90s nostalgia."

"The shoulder bag offers the hands-free option," my friend told me. We saw this with the return of the Dior Saddle and Fendi Baguette but expect other classics to return, like Gucci's Jackie bag. For his spring/summer 2019 collection, Simon Porte Jacquemus (aka the man almost solely responsible for the biggest accessory trends of 2018: micro bags and that one giant hat) sent a massive bag down the runway that went viral. But alongside that bag were a number of—you guessed it—shoulder bags. Cue the Instagram set. Shoulder bags no longer live in the darkest corners of closets. They will be everywhere.

Whilst the glitzy smaller versions of the shoulder bag like the Fendi Baguette (loved by Paris Hilton, for example) have been at the beginning of this born-again trend, expect to see classic, bigger styles to rise in popularity too. To get ahead of the look now, we'd suggest channelling Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy.

For further proof, here we have model Bella Hadid juggling life: holding onto her boyfriend, The Weeknd, and a bag of macarons. This was all made possible thanks to her hands-free shoulder bag. It's practical, chic and can sometimes hold a book without being bulky. So how are shoulder bags only just now coming back? What have we fashion people been doing to survive without them this whole time? I, for one, am ready for shoulder bags to come back and stay.

This has been the year of the it dress, as instead of handbags or shoes, it's dresses that are reaching cult status and selling out. There is a new style that is hard-to-track down — a sleeved knitted dress with a rollneck and dramatic slit on one leg by cult label Jacquemus. You'd be forgiven for thinking an ankle-length rollneck jumper would look a little frumpy, but it's surprisingly slinky thanks to the open slit.
