While fashion week is usually reserved for the most outlandish looks and OTT outfits, this year it has been refreshing to see many of our fashion favourites choosing to attend the shows in surprisingly understated looks. From roll-necks and blue jeans to trenchcoats and blazers, the fashion set has opted for pared-down outfits this season, which have generally been comprised of the basic wardrobe staples most of us already own. In fact, a number of the key looks are so simple, we're convinced you can recreate them using items in your existing closet. 

Do you own a few beige jumpers? Great! You can very easily steal Eva Chen's double-knit look from the JW Anderson show. Are you in the possession of blue jeans, a white tee and a beige trench coat? Wonderful! You can basically copy Sabina Socol's exact look from NYFW. Or if you happen to own a white blazer and black midi dress, you're already 90% of the way to reimagining Olivia Palermo's outfit from the Gucci show.

Whether this is proof that celebs are championing the concept of a capsule wardrobe or it is simply a coincidence, we will never know. Style Notes: A beige coat is a forever investment, as are knee-high boots and a pleated skirt. Pairing all three together makes for a timeless look that will work for seasons to come.

Followers of Eva Chen will know that she is posting outfit selfies taken in the stairwell of Facebook's New York office as frequently as her signature #EvaChenPose snapped in the back of a taxi. Just a few weeks after Lucky Editor in Chief Eva Chen announced she would be leaving the magazine, The Lucky Group confirmed that it would be reducing the print magazine from 10 issues per year to four, according to Fashionista and Adweek. The Lucky Group CEO Josh Berman told Adweek that the May issue will be Lucky's last in its current format, and the first new edition, a September issue landing at the end of summer, will have a more "premium 'collectible' feeling."

WWD reports that Lucky editor in chief Eva Chen is said to be leaving the magazine as early as this Thursday. Condé Nast has not confirmed or responded but several sources have implied that the magazine is headed straight digital. We don’t know much but we do know that Chen was spotted lunching with Condé Nast president Bob Sauerberg on Tuesday. We hate to assume but you can see how it looks.
