There are few things in fashion we can bank on, but if there's one thing, it's that the Academy Awards will serve multiple very good looks on the red carpet. Be it sexy, sequinned or downright surprising, we know as editors we'll wake up on that Monday in March to a series of viral moments, magnificent dresses and, of course, the news of who took home the most-coveted awards.

When covering the Oscars, particularly the red carpet fashion, we expect fun, fabulous but relatively unwearable looks. Feathers! Naked dresses! Rhinestones! Stunning? Yes. But easy to wear day to day? Perhaps not. But there was one microtrend I spotted at this year’s Academy Awards that I think is not only wearable but about to be huge, and that’s embroidered floral motifs.

Whilst we spotted a few examples; Rose Byrne in custom Dior, Lauren Santo Domingo in Conner Ives for the Vanity Fair after-party and Arden Cho in Miss Sohee, Anne Hathaway’s black velvet haute couture Valentino Garavani gown was possibly the most breathtaking. With a mermaid silhouette, a deep waisted belt and accessorised with matching black velvet opera gloves, Roger Vivier Jewel heeled sandals and Bulgari jewellery, this was not your standard little black dress. Hathaway’s choice to wear the luxury brand was no doubt a tribute to the house’s namesake designer Valentino Garavini, who died in January and was a friend of hers.

Another example that caught my eye was Lauren Santo Domingo’s Conner Ives dress for the Vanity Fair after-party. Floral embroidered silk pieces, primarily coats with a fur trim, are fast becoming a signature for emerging London-based New York designer. Just this weekend Zoe Kravitz was pictured wearing a custom jacket whilst stepping out with her boyfriend Harry Styles. Adorned with oriental florals, like the wisteria on Domingo’s dress, the style feels similar to that of Mary-Kate Olsen’s Balmain silk floral coat worn at The Met Gala in 2013.

Actress and KPop singer Arden Cho also chose soft floral embroidery on her chartreuse green (a trending spring/summer 26 colour) shawl by Miss Sohee courture. The Demon Hunters star paired the green embroidered puffed sleeve piece, which has a long trail from each arm to wear with her fishtail black lace gown.

Rose Byrne, who was nominated for Best Actress at the awards for her role in If I Had Legs I'd Kick You, wore a stunning black velvet gown not unlike Anne Hathaway's. The Dior dress was also sleeveless, with a mermaid silhouette, in jet black with beautiful floral embroidered bouquets across the bottom and chest.

If the Oscars 2026 red carpet is the ultimate award-season showdown, the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party is where Hollywood lets its hair down. It's where fashion gets a little more daring. After months of red carpet glitz and glamour, tonight's attendees traded gowns built for the Dolby Theatre for looks designed to dance, mingle, and make a statement under the iconic after-party lights. Every sequined slip, tailored suit, and showstopping accessory deserves its moment in the spotlight, and we're here to give them just that.

It's officially entertainment's most important night. The Oscars red carpet—or the Academy Awards if you're fancy—plays host to some of the most awe-striking fashion and beauty moments of the year. Though the show celebrates the actors, cast, crew members, and many projects of 2025, the stars have arrived on the red carpet donning looks that feel reminiscent of a certain 2026 film that sent the internet into a frenzy: Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights, marked by Margot Robbie's cascading gothic waves.

Historically inspired romantic hairstyles have been sweeping red carpets ever since Robbie's rotation of stellar press tour looks kicked off in late January, but the trend seems to have had a lasting impression on the stars bedecking Hollywood's most revered event. Chase Infiniti and Odessa A'zion are some of the latest to float down the carpet in their stunning curly styles, and Auli’i Cravalho, Ariana Greenblatt, and more sported iterations of the moor-mussed waves. Gothic-Wave Trend at the 2026 Oscars

A'zion's famous waves are out to play tonight, and we can't help but notice how seamlessly her naturally bouncy spirals mesh with this gothic trend. Worn loose and voluminous, her look demonstrates a curly take on this historically charged style.

Infiniti's looks—from head to toe—are always the talk of the town, and tonight is no different. The One Battle After Another star wears her sweeping tresses in goddess braids, showcasing how stunning natural hair looks with this trend. Celebrity hairstylist Coree Moreno created this sculpted braid look with a smattering of bendy waves using Bellami's Silk Seam Clip-Ins and the Arachne Smoothboost Brush for an extra touch of length and volume.

At this point, Cravalho's inky waves are basically synonymous with the Disney princess role that kick-started her career (Moana, if you live under a rock). However, the actress and singer pinned her trademark ebony waves up into a half-up, half-down style that feels very Bridgerton to us beauty editors.

Bella Thorne was the apple of our eye as walked down the carpet in a sheer black gown and moody Brontë waves. In a half-up, half-down style similar to Cravalho's, Thorne pulled out a few face-framing pieces and adorned her style with a black bow.

Greenblatt is yet another actress donning this romantic, cascading style. The Barbie alum looks extra chic in a vintage John Galliano off-the-shoulder dress, accented by her stunning, tousled waves—falling perfectly in line with the period-piece trend we've seen sweeping 2026's red carpets.

Though we'd happily enjoy a star-studded red carpet every Sunday night, award season unfortunately comes to a close this evening with the 2026 Academy Awards, the finish line of a long and very stylish run of shows that started all the way back in November. It's bittersweet, so we want to savor every second of it, paying especially close attention to the looks that tonight's attendees and their stylists spent hours upon hours putting together. Every last earring and hand-sewn embellishment deserves its moment, and we're happy to give them just that.

Of all the award shows each season, the Oscars are always the mecca when it comes to fashion. Think back to some of the greatest looks of all time, like Nicole Kidman's chartreuse Dior Haute Couture dress by John Galliano in 1997, Lupita Nyong'o's aquamarine Prada gown in 2014, and Emma Stone's gold fringed Givenchy dress designed by Riccardo Tisci. Of course, we can't forget Gwyneth Paltrow's iconic baby-pink Ralph Lauren number that she wore in 1999, the year she won Best Actress for her role in Shakespeare in Love. And tonight, we were lucky enough to witness the next "greats" to be added to this list. Normally, when I settle in for an evening of red-carpet spotting, I’m primed for a parade of inky black gowns, barely-there naked dresses and luminous satin silhouettes. Awards season tends to favour drama and depth, but at yesterday’s Actors Awards, the mood felt significantly brighter.

Instead of noir drama or high-shine neutrals, Hollywood’s chicest stepped out in a wash of delicate, light-infused hues—ushering in a spring palette that feels totally in step with the season's brighter days.

Setting the tone early on, Emma Stone arrived in a chainmail lilac gown complete with a matching bolero from Louis Vuitton. The look shimmered subtly whilst the soft violet shade brought a gentle romance to the otherwise armour-like texture of the metal mesh. Tapping into an underrated colour trend poised for a major moment this season, Stone sidestepped traditional red carpet expectations, welcoming a flush of spring energy instead.

From there, elegant pastel tones appeared on several of the evening’s best-dressed. Aimee Lou Wood opted for an icy blue, off-the-shoulder gown from Versace. Rich in pleated detailing and finished with an almost iridescent sheen, the dress carried a sculptural quality that required little in the way of embellishment.

Riffing on the pastel mood, Sarah Pidgeon emerged in a strapless bubble gown rendered in the softest wash of pink. Hovering somewhere between blush and lilac, the shade felt fresh and refined—distinct from the deeper, moodier ’90s tones she’s become associated with since portraying Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy in Love Story. The silhouette brought a playful edge, but the colour kept things polished and grown-up.

Throughout the event, pale pinks, powder blues and delicate lilacs emerged as the season's favourite hues—all styled with minimal accessories and sleek shoes, allowing the fresh palette to speak for itself.

And just like that, award season is in full swing. In case you missed it, 2026 kicked off with the Golden Globes, the Grammys, the BAFTAs, and the Film Independent Spirit Awards. Up next tonight is the Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards.

Tonight's award show, hosted by Kristen Bell for the third time and streamed live on Netflix, will take place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The event will cover 15 categories, including Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and Ensemble in a Drama/Comedy Series. With movies and television shows like Wicked: For Good, Song Sung Blue, One Battle After Another, Marty Supreme, The Diplomat, and Only Murders in the Building, we can expect to see the best-dressed celebrities, including Ariana Grande, Kate Hudson, Teyana Taylor, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Keri Russell.

What makes the 2026 Actor Awards so special and exciting, especially for fashion people, is that for the first time, Elle has set the official fashion theme for its red carpet: Reimagining Hollywood Glamour From the '20s and '30s. "The concept pays tribute to an era defined by bold expression, sensuality, and cultural collision," as noted in a press release. Personally, I'm eager to see how A-listers and their stylists interpret this theme. The good news is that I don't have to wait any longer, as the first celebrities are already arriving, and the energy suggests the night will be filled with stunning fashion.

Last night, London hosted one of the most anticipated nights in film. The 2026 BAFTAs were held at the iconic Royal Festival Hall. Although most eyes are probably on the iconic red carpet fashion moments that dominated last night, as a beauty writer, my eyes were set solely on the makeup, hair and nail looks that I want to recreate for myself. And after spending all morning scrolling through the best BAFTA 2026 beauty moments, my thoughts are set firmly on one in particular—Ellie Bamber’s sheer makeup look, courtesy of Armani Beauty.

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m somewhat of a makeup minimalist, so it should come as no surprise that this sheer, glowy full-face caught my eye. Between the soft, smokey eye, healthy glow of the cheeks and the glossy nude lip, Ellie’s makeup look is one I’m sure every clean girl is set to try this season. Not to mention that it falls directly into the "Dew 2.0" look that’s set to be one of 2026’s biggest makeup trends.

After spotting this makeup look on the red carpet, I, of course, had to reach out to celebrity makeup artist Zoë Taylor to find out the inspiration behind the look, as well as the exact products she used, so that I can recreate the look for myself. The Inspiration

"Ellie’s beautiful dress was the inspiration behind the makeup, echoing the sheerness of the fabric through matte texture on the lid and super-fresh, glowing skin. Ellie has the most perfect pale complexion, so we keep it cool on the eyes using sheer browns and greys over the lid, and lots of mascara. Cheeks felt flushed and youthful, whilst the lips were a very considered nude," says Taylor.

The Application

1. Apply blush high on the cheeks for a flushed look.
2. Apply the deeper eye tint next to the lash and the lighter shade over the lid, buffing into the lid and lash line to create depth. Layer the colours like an oil painting.
3. Apply gloss onto the centre of the lipstick to create a fuller pout.
4. I love to apply the luminous silk finish with a regular foundation brush and then use a fluffy brush to blend it into the skin seamlessly.
5. I find the foundation is so skin-like, which I love for a red-carpet finish.

There's so much to love about awards season style: the new-season designs, daring silhouettes and over-the-top embellishments make for endlessly entertaining red carpet coverage. Yet, more often than not, I walk away from a post-show deep dive without feeling inspired to translate anything into my own wardrobe. I’m rarely tempted by the naked dress trend that has dominated the style set season after season, nor am I inclined toward puffball dresses layered in sequins and tulle. While I can admire these bold choices in others, they certainly never feel like me.

This year's Golden Globes, however, was quite the opposite. Gone were the sheer metallics and novelty details. Instead, the evening’s best-dressed celebrities were largely swathed in enduringly elegant black

A conveyor belt of elegant black dresses, some stars leaned towards gothic silhouettes à la Miley Cyrus in her sparkle-adorned Saint Laurent gown or Jenna Ortega's Dilara Findikoglu's ensemble. Whilst others evoked classic Hollywood glamour through draping and texture.

What really struck me was how ranging and personality-packed the looks remained, despite their pared-back hue. And as someone who loves minimalist dressing and investing in pieces I know I’ll wear for years, this felt like a little red carpet gift to my inspiration board.

The 83rd annual Golden Globes are kicking off this evening. The UK’s biggest night in fashion has arrived again and the industry’s brightest stars have begun to descend on London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall for the Fashion Awards 2025. Each December, this much-anticipated event gathers global talent—designers, models, editors, actors and creators—to celebrate those who have made significant contributions to the fashion industry over the past 12 months.

Now, reporting from my home in London, I might be biased, but I've always found there’s something particularly special about the Fashion Awards. Year after year, the red carpet becomes a testament to the UK’s influence on the global fashion landscape, while celebrating boundary-pushers from across the world.

Hosted by Colman Domingo at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall, with performances from Raye and Tems scheduled throughout the night, the evening is already shaping up to be a standout on the fashion calendar.

While some awards have already been revealed—Anok Yai will take home Model of the Year and Little Simz has been named Cultural Innovator—there are still plenty of exciting announcements to come.

Before we touch on the celebrity looks, here’s what we know so far. Alongside Anok Yai’s win for Model of the Year and Little Simz’s Cultural Innovator honour, Sam Wolfe will receive the Pandora Style Moment of the Year award.

Several Special Recognition accolades will also be presented this evening, celebrating Brunello Cucinelli, Delphine Arnault, Dover Street Market, 15 Years of BFC Fashion Trust and Fashion East. While Kate Hawley has been named Costume Designer of the Year.

Perhaps the most significant award to be announced this evening is Designer of the Year. This year’s nominees include Jonathan Anderson for JW Anderson and Dior, Martine Rose, Willy Chavarria, Rick Owens, Miuccia Prada for Miu Miu, and Glenn Martens for Diesel and Maison Margiela.

Celebrities are beginning to trickle in. Laura Weir, CEO of the British Fashion Council, has arrived with BFC Chair David Pemsel—and host Colman Domingo has now joined them on the carpet.

As the celebrities start to pour in, the Who What Wear team is already debating which red carpet looks we’re most excited to see. With a guest list that reads like a who’s who of the industry’s chicest—and coolest—it’s almost impossible to choose.

Lila Moss has arrived in a 16Arlington dress that manages to capture so many of the season's favourite trends. The feathers! The knee-length cut! The sleek grey shade! All of the most important trends in one stunning look.

2026 and 2027 brides, take note! The Fashion Awards are proving to be a goldmine for bridal styling inspiration—just look at Ceval Omar, Gizem Celik, and Zara Martin, all looking like they could be walking down the aisle tonight.

The rain and wind is yet to abate, but Alexa Chung has come prepared, wearing a Chloé funnel neck jacket dress from the brand's spring/summer 2026 collection.

The Model of the Year has arrived! Anok Yai stepped onto the red carpet in a sweeping butter yellow gown and diamond earrings.

With the carpet wrapping up, I've gotten our editors to weigh in on their favourite looks. First up, Megan Storey, our Social Media Editor, has spoken—Celia Imrie’s red velvet cloak is an absolute winner.

While Assistant Social Media Editor Annie Wheatland-Clinch can't get over Lily's look: "She looks straight off the Titanic with the high neck and lace detail. And, this gold/yellow shade is so Christmas camp! Her shoes are like little presents!"

Second pregnancy alert! Sienna Miller just arrived in a white sheer gown, debuting her baby bump in style.

Wrapping up her performance, singer Raye reflected on her Fashion Awards journey, recalling that for her first appearance, she wore a sheer Givenchy dress paired with a Primark thong. Tonight, she's gone for glamour in a metallic silver Ferrari gown.

British Menswear Designer of the Year has been announced as Grace Wales Bonner. The London designer takes home the award for the second year in a row.

Sarah Burton, creative director of Givenchy, wins the British Womenswear Designer of the Year.

Dilara Findikoglu just won the prestigious Vanguard award. Thanking herself “for never giving up and always believing", she dedicated her award to all the misfits in the world, saying, “London is the place for us”.

As I watched celebrities step onto the Oscars 2025 red carpet on Sunday night, one thing stood out: the near-absence of the sheer, barely-there dresses that have long dominated Hollywood’s biggest night.

For years, the Oscars has served as a stage for boundary-pushing, skin-baring fashion, with celebrities embracing diaphanous gowns that left little to the imagination. But this year, something shifted. Instead of sheer panels and transparent fabrics, the red carpets (both for the main event and the official Vanity Fair afterparty) were filled with a new kind of risqué dressing—one that leaned into structure and sensuality. Enter the "underwear dress" trend.

The nearly-naked trend isn’t gone; it has simply evolved. Where sheer dresses once ruled, the focus has now shifted to lingerie-inspired details—think corsetry, exposed bras and bodices that borrow from the world of boudoir. This shift marks a departure from overt exposure towards a more sophisticated take on sensuality.

Case in point: Monica Barbaro’s breathtaking Dior gown. Opting for a pink-and-silver dress with a high empire waistline, the A Complete Unknown star showcased a voluminous silhouette with thick box-pleat detailing and pocket cut-outs. Whilst the lower half of the dress provided full coverage, the upper portion featured a bra-inspired cut. The effect? A look that felt both daring and undeniably red-carpet worthy.

Meanwhile, Lupita Nyong’o interpreted the trend with refinement and poise. Her Chanel gown featured a chainmail bodice that cinched at the waist, whilst a pearl-embellished bust peeked through, creating a balance between opulence and playfulness that nodded to the underwear dress trend in a subtle and wearable way.

Spanning generations, this emerging trend was also picked up by young actor Josephine Reitman, who opted for a black gown featuring a sheer corset bodice—a contemporary take on the structured silhouettes of the past. The sheer detailing was present but controlled, reinforcing the idea that fashion is moving away from total transparency in favour of strategic reveals.

Whilst corset detailing and exposed bras have long played a role in red-carpet fashion, their presence hasn’t felt this dominant in years. Rather than relying on sheer fabrics alone, this trend adds a sense of intrigue through clever design choices, making it both more wearable and infinitely more interesting.

One of the most highly anticipated nights on the red carpet has arrived with the 2025 Academy Awards. Throughout the award show season, there has been buzz about which films will take home the Oscars, with top contenders including The Brutalist and Anora. We are equally invested in the films as we are the fashion on the red carpet, and it has already been a strong season. Selena Gomez has been one of the breakout red carpet stars of the season, styled by Erin Walsh in elegant Old Hollywood looks from Celine and Prada.

As a fashion editor with a penchant for celebrity style, the BAFTAs 2025 is always one of my favourite nights of the year. Drenched in glamour, drama and great looks, the star-studded night is one that I have marked in my calendar for months. Each year, I watch closely, noting the silhouettes and styling choices that define the evening—and the outfits that might just inspire my own wardrobe, too.

And this year I was in for a treat. The BAFTAs saw a wave of A-listers embrace a dress trend I'm already obsessed with: the supremely chic two-tone design.

Featuring a pared-back colour palette of two simple shades, one of which is almost always black, this dress trend employs a less-is-more approach to design that helps to instil an expensive-looking energy. It feels confident yet understated, bold without being excessive—proof that a well-considered approach to colour can be just as striking as embellishment or elaborate detailing.

The BAFTAs red carpet was all in on the trend. Ariana Grande was one of the first to catch my eye, stepping out in a dreamy black and powder pink puffball gown by Louis Vuitton. Following suit, Wunmi Mosaku delivered her own take, opting for a floor-length gown in the same two shades that felt just as refined.

Meanwhile, Lupita Nyong’o gave the trend a more understated spin in a black and white Chanel dress, complete with a delicate bow detail and a full tulle skirt. The effect was quietly powerful, demonstrating that even the most minimalist of palettes can create a commanding design.

The time has finally come when we get to see what the biggest stars in music are wearing to the biggest night in music: the Grammy Awards. And when I say the biggest stars, I'm not exaggerating. Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Charli XCX are just a few of the musicians expected to grace the red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. This year's Grammys mark the first major award show since the devastating Los Angeles wildfires that occurred last month. In addition to honoring the slew of nominated musicians, the telecast will raise funds to support relief efforts and provide aid to music professionals who have been impacted, so there's yet another very important reason to tune in.

When you think of spring colours, your mind probably jumps to soft yellows, breezy blues, and blush pinks—the usual cheery, optimistic suspects.

But this year, fashion designers have decided to spice things up. Gravitating towards something bolder, richer and moodier, the celebrity style set has already dubbed sultry dark red the colour of the upcoming season at the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday night.

Anything but bashful, the dark-red colour trend isn't quite the bright apple-red of summer nor the rich burgundy hue of autumn; this cool-toned crimson exudes sophistication and modernity. Vivid enough to command attention yet grounded enough to feel elegant and grown-up, this balanced shade has an elevated energy that lends itself well to red-carpet styling.

Peppering the runways during the spring/summer 2025 shows, the trend reached its zenith at the Golden Globes on Sunday evening, where the event’s best-dressed attendees embraced the shade. Emma Stone's strapless Louis Vuitton dress was certainly a highlight, whilst Dakota Fanning's floor-sweeping Versace gown exuded glamour.

Meanwhile, Ali Wong's eye-catching Balenciaga dress featured layers upon layers of crimson fringing yet felt surprisingly demure thanks to the expensive-looking shade.

Paving the way for the ruby shade to be an awards-season standout, the runways championed the jewel tone for S/S 25, presenting it as a wearable yet undeniably sexy alternative to the orange-toned reds of past seasons. Labels including Louis Vuitton, Rokh, Di Petsi, Ferragamo and Bottega Veneta showcased the shade in their collections, pairing it with black and brown accessories for a chic and very current aesthetic.

The perfect transitional tone, this deep-red hue feels dark enough to resonate during the final weeks of winter, but fresh enough to be exciting for spring. Its opulent undertones offer a welcome contrast to the softer shades so often associated with spring, which makes its prevalence for the season ahead all the more surprising.

Whether styled with glittering jewellery for a touch of Hollywood glamour or with minimalist accessories for an everyday take, dark red is proving to be a colour to get to know. Ready to embrace the trend? It’s time to turn to the dark side of spring style.

SHOP THE DARK-RED COLOUR TREND:

First, we saw hints of it on the runway, then it started cropping up on social media, and now, the colour trend that's set to define 2025 has officially had its red carpet debut.

At Monday night's The Fashion Awards 2024 at The Royal Albert Hall in London, a very stylish swarm of celebrities left their black gowns on the hanger, instead embracing the pale pink colour trend for the evening's events. While it's a fresh, pretty and romantic shade, it's not the colour I would think of when planning a look for a black-tie event in December—but now I’m officially convinced it deserves a spot in my eveningwear wardrobe.

Wearing an elegant tiered Prada gown in a pale pink shade, actor Simone Ashley made a case for the colour that designers are backing right now. Pairing her outfit with sparkling silver shoes and a light spattering of jewels, Ashley's outfit felt light and vibrant—a refreshing departure from the dark, moody tones typically favoured during party season.

Fellow actor Shalom Brune-Franklin followed suit, swapping the classic LBD for a charming pink number from Miu Miu. Styled with platform heels and understated silver accessories, her look further proved that pale pink's moment is here.

Pale pink made a strong impression during Fashion Month in September, appearing in runway collections from brands like Erdem, Alaïa, and Khaite amongst others. Weaving the optimistic shade into their spring/summer 2025 collections, these designers firmly established pale pink as the colour to watch for the upcoming season.

Also experimenting with the pale pink and silver combination was television presenter, Angela Scanlon, who styled the powdery shade with silver slingback shoes and a pale pearl handbag.

As a fashion editor, the Oscars is one of my favourite nights of the year. It's a rare occasion to see so many show-stopping outfits on display in one place, and the incredible fashion coupled with the real-time history-making equals a fanciful and inspiring night that I look forward to every year.

Whilst the elaborate haute couture and archive garments inspire the fashion-lover in me, I'm always on the lookout for key trends and silhouettes that I can try myself, and there were some major examples on the red carpet last night. I've scouted three wearable yet striking spring fashion trends that were worn by some of my favourite A-listers and will no doubt ripple into our wardrobes soon enough.

3 TRENDS FROM THE OSCARS THAT WILL ACTUALLY IMPACT YOUR WARDROBE

1. PEPLUM SILHOUETTES

Style Notes: The peplum silhouette has had a makeover for 2024, and celebrities (including Oscar-winner Emma Stone) are here for it. Composed of structured fabrics, these elevated designs add a sculptural element to a garment that makes it perfect for red carpet dressing. This season, the trend is set to transcend the red carpet, having appeared on the S/S '24 runways at Alberta Ferretti and Erdem. Already scattered across some of our favourite high-street brands, we predict a peplum revival.

2. PRETTY BOWS

Style Notes: We spotted the bow accessories trend saturate the city streets across fashion month, so a nod to the rising trend on the Oscars red carpet last night only felt natural. Appearing on subtle—and not-so-subtle—designs, the bow trend was big across the board.

3. OFF-THE-SHOULDER DRESSES

Style Notes: Easy, elegant and ideal for event styling, the off-the-shoulder neckline was chosen by celebrities for its effortlessly glamorous silhouette. These striking dresses played up many a dramatic necklace on the night, but I also love to style an off-the-shoulder top with jeans or wide-leg trousers to bring an elegant edge to my casual day-to-day style.

While award season might be winding down a bit, the Oscars red carpet is set to be anything but boring. Taking place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles this year, the 96th annual Academy Awards will celebrate some of our favourite stars including Emma Stone, America Ferrera, and Carey Mulligan. While we're always mesmerised by the fashion at award shows, we can't count out these incredible beauty looks we've spotted so far. TBH, I might need a few days to recover, take them all in, and promptly add them to my mood board. Keep scrolling and you'll see what I mean. E! Oscars red carpet host Laverne Cox kept it simple and elegant with bronzy gold eyes and soft red lips.

I'm really feeling this simple, sophisticated look from Zendaya.

Julianne Hough stunned in a rosé-hued look for the carpet this year.

I already see a theme emerging. This is the year of blush-coloured lips.

Issa Rae is a girl after my own heart. She wore a deep bronze-and-gold eye look with a thick winged liner, but she also opted for a gloss on the lips instead of a traditional lipstick.

Gabrielle Union sports smoky eyes, extra voluminous lashes, and rosy cheeks.

Cynthia Erivo isn't against a matching look. Her teal liner perfectly matched her dress and nails.

Vanessa Hudgens, who debuted her baby bump on the carpet, went for a rosy mauve tone on both the lips and eyes.

The real centerpiece of Eva Longoria's look was her sweeping black Tamara Ralph gown, but her peach-toned lip shade was the perfect complement.

Peach Fuzz is Pantone's colour of the year, so all the rose- and peach-toned makeup looks on the carpet made perfect sense.

Anya Taylor-Joy always stuns, but her Christian Dior dress here was a favorite. The smoky eyes and subtle pink lips complement them perfectly.

Emma Stone wore elegant and simple jewelry with her custom Louis Vuitton dress but kept her makeup simple (and on theme) with the rosy lips.

Kristen Dunst went for a classic fire-engine red lip and it pairs so well with her white Gucci gown.

Emily Blunt's makeup is a lovely shade of rose gold. Her highlight literally sparkles when the light hits it just right.

Extra-voluminous lashes and a light gloss on the lips for Ava Duvernay.

I'm obsessed with this rosy-brown shade of lipstick Florence Pugh is wearing. It's the perfect colour to wear for a special occasion, but it also totally works as an everyday lip colour.

Whilst I love the glamour of awards season and will tune in to every event that I can, I'll admit that the BRIT Awards has always has a special place in my heart. Honouring the music industry's top talent from the UK and beyond, the night is reliably packed with extravagant evening wear, world-class entertainment, and a guest list brimming with my favourite celebrities.

With performances from Dua Lipa and Kylie Minogue serving as just a portion of the event's highlights, tonight's award ceremony is set to be marked as one of the most memorable of the season. Whilst I'm ready for a night of artist-appreciation, I would be lying if I told you that I was here for anything beyond the fashion. So, naturally I'm going to showcase the most jaw-dropping looks from the event.

We love being in the midst of award season. Why? Well, there are multiple reasons. Firstly, it means we can post up on the couch with our favorite form of takeout and maybe a glass of wine to yet again watch all of the A-list attendees filter in. It's what we did for the Golden Globes; it's what we did for the Grammy's; and now, it's what we're doing for the 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards—more colloquially known as the SAG Awards. Secondly, and most importantly, it means we can, yet again, wait with bated breath to see the best (and most conversation-starting) red-carpet beauty looks.

It's no secret that oftentimes, afterparty looks trump those spotted on the red carpet, and last night's post-BAFTAs ensembles certainly made a case for this. This award season, we've covered some of the biggest red-carpet style moments from the Golden Globes to the Grammys, and tonight, we're gearing up for the star-studded Screen Actors Guild Awards, celebrating the outstanding motion picture and television performances of the year, voted by SAG-AFTRA's robust membership of 119,000+ performers.

The SAG Awards, now in its 30th year, will take place at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. Tan France and Elaine Welteroth are set to host the official pre-show. Some of this year's nominees include Margot Robbie, Jennifer Anniston, Emma Stone, Emily Blunt, Jodie Foster, Ayo Edebiri, Brie Larson, and Sarah Snook to name but a few—with a whole host of A-listers set to attend, including an exciting appearance from the Devil Wears Prada trio (Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt, who'll reunite on stage to present!).

We have a confession to make, and it might be a bit of a hot take. Our favourite part of award season is definitely the Grammy Awards. While shows like the Golden Globes and Academy Awards deliver in the fashion department, we find the actual show at each of these events to be a little too slow-paced for our taste. (Sorry.) The Grammy Awards, however, offer powerhouse performances and next-level beauty looks to boot. Much more our speed!

This year, the Grammys are taking place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles with performances from all our favourites, including Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish. While we're positively itching to see what everyone will wear, we're poised at the ready to swoon over all the out-of-this-world beauty looks. We're looking at you, Taylor Swift. What will she wear this time? Will she win Album of the Year and set a record for most wins in the category? We'll find out! In the meantime, scroll through all the most "ooh"- and "aah"-worthy looks we've clocked so far on the carpet.

Richie's slick-back hair coupled with her flushed complexion make for a radiant, effortless finish. 

Janelle Monáe's sleek cat eye looks effortless and chic.

The real showstopper here is Miley's feathered locks, but the natural pink lip and eye are also a vibe.

Miss Swift arrived with a black and white fit that's most likely filled with Easter eggs (Reputation era, anyone?), but her signature red lip pairs perfectly with the look.

Dua Lipa is sporting a bronze-gold eye with a metallic gown. The burgundy hair gives the whole look a fiery finish.

In case you didn't notice, Laverne Cox is a serious blush girlie. We love the rouge-stained cheeks paired with an equally luscious red lip here.

While the rest of her makeup might be simple, Olivia Rodrigo went full speed ahead with a vampy red lip.

A subtle ice blue eye paired with a glossy lip for Paris Hilton.

Doll makeup was made for Lana Del Rey. Her features look positively porcelain, but the lip combo is what really stands out.

Bebe Rexha's glow is unreal thanks to skin prep done by her legendary facialist Joanna Vargas.

Wow. Madison Beer always looks stunning, but this might be one of our favorite looks of hers yet.

Charlotte Lawrence is sporting a smoky fox-eye look. A heavier liner feels perfect for the occasion.

A juicy, glossy lip and neutral eye for Alix Earle on the carpet. We're biased because we love a glossy lip, but this look gets an A+ in our book.

We might be just a tad obsessed with Kat Graham's rose gold shimmer eye shadow here.

This lip-liner-and-lipstick combo is unreal on Emma Brooks.

Is lip jewelry a thing now? If it's not, it should be and Fantasia Barrino proves it.

Paris Jackson opted for a more neutral look, but it's anything but boring. The subtle rosy shade on the lids and beige-pink lip go so well with black.

No one does "boy brows" better than Best New Artist nominee Gracie Abrams.
