Ok, I know this product is crazy expensive, but it's honestly one of the best things I've ever put on my face. And I don't say that lightly. The formula is so lightweight (you literally don't feel as if you're wearing anything on your skin) and glides on like butter. Whilst it doesn't offer much coverage (I always go in with concealer afterwards), it does offer a smooth, even, illuminating finish alongside SPF50+. It is well formulated in that it doesn't cause any irritation, and it has a creamy, almost lotion consistency, which is perfect for those who don't dig a traditional serum-y texture. Why it's the best: Medik8's Crystal Retinal has earned cult status for good reason. My review: If I could recommend just one retinoid to someone, it would be this. The step-up system takes the guesswork out of using vitamin A, and despite its potency, I've found it far less irritating than many retinol formulas I've tried. Within a few months, my skin looked smoother, brighter and more refined, with a noticeable improvement in post-blemish marks and overall texture. It's one of those products that quietly transforms your skin the longer you use it.

My review: This is one of those products that lives up to its legendary status. Yes, it's expensive, but I've yet to find another vitamin C serum that delivers the same healthy, lit-from-within glow.
