Welcome to Runway Matters, where we're delivering notes straight from the runway so you can quickly digest the most important trends and noteworthy moments from the F/W 18 shows.

Tory Burch may have first earned a cult following for her iconic bags and footwear, but after just one look at her latest show, this editor certainly feels like dressing in head-to-toe Tory will be a difficult temptation to resist. Models walked the runway, which was actually more of a grassy garden path, surrounded by a field of pink flowers that brought to mind a British garden—all I was missing was a cup of tea to finish off my morning.

I've come to love Tory's outerwear especially, and this season didn't disappoint. With styles ranging from a structured military-style coat to an unbelievably cozy-looking shearling number, playing favorites when it came to coats proved a challenge. Also worth noting were the bold hits of color: Head-to-toe oranges and pinks that, while traditionally reserved for spring, fit right in with the fall essentials presented.
