>There is one phrase that every bride-to-be exclaims when they pick out a bridesmaid dress for their friends: “And you can totally wear it again!” (Okay, not all brides, but many.) And—speaking from experience—you never do. That was until one former bridesmaid proved us all very wrong, and her photographic proof went viral.
>As we spotted on BuzzFeed, Tammi Sauer, a children’s book author, recently shared photos on her Twitter account of how one of her bridesmaids, Heidi Mann, is re-wearing a lacy, off-the-shoulder brocade dress from her wedding 22 years ago.
“I apologized to my bridesmaids for those 1995 dresses,” Sauer’s tweet read. “Heidi’s reply: ‘What do you mean sorry about the dresses? I wear mine all the time.’”
Mann produced the proof that she’s still getting plenty of use out of her burgundy dress—for gardening, lazy afternoons, and whatnot. And she made all the rest of us disgruntled former bridesmaids look like a big ole bunch of complainers.
