Suki Waterhouse Is Already Wearing the Color You'll See Everywhere in 2018

A little over a week ago, the experts at Pantone revealed the 2018 Color of the Year. And if you weren't there when the news first broke, here's a quick refresher: Ultra Violet, a deep, dark purple, nabbed the top honor. And while it's officially considered the shade of 2018, meaning we'll be seeing a lot more of it next year, some of our favorite style stars are already getting a head start on this trend. Case in point: Suki Waterhouse's latest look.

The model stepped out for a party in London this weekend wearing a stunning holiday ensemble that featured the most eye-catching—and Kirakira-approved—robe coat from the Ellery F/W 17 collection. But it wasn't only the sparkle that caught our eye. Instead, it was the fact that this coat was a spot-on version of the mysterious, dark purple hue that we'll be seeing everywhere in 2018.

Waterhouse kept the rest of the pieces in her look simple, opting for a black dress, crystal-buckle satin mules, and a light purple box bag that perfectly complemented the Ultra Violet–hued piece. This look proves that it's never too soon to get into the color purple.
