While this time of year typically means we can expect to see our favorite style stars test-driving new collections, one familiar face will not be making the usual rounds at fashion week this season. British model Suki Waterhouse is taking a break from the four-week circuit to focus on rather different pursuits.
Stopping by the InStyle portrait studio at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this week, Waterhouse spilled on what's been keeping her busy—and far from the bright lights of fashion week's front rows.
"I'm kind of missing it this year," Waterhouse confessed to InStyle. "I'm finishing up a TV show [The White Princess] that I'm filming and I'm also here in Toronto for The Bad Batch premiere." Waterhouse co-stars in the Ana Lily Armirpour–directed film with Jason Momoa, Jim Carrey, and Keanu Reeves.
In addition to lighting up the silver screen, Waterhouse just collaborated with her BFF Poppy Jamie to launch an adorable accessory line called Pop & Suki. "For years I've been involved in other people's pursuits and visions, so I wanted to have my own thing," she said. "But I love the 360 of the business. I love the elements of photography and creating a universe. And with Pop & Suki, I knew I could make something that people would like."
While we wait to enjoy the model's latest pursuits, scroll on to revisit some of Suki Waterhouse's best fashion week looks from last season.
