Chiara Ferragni

Maybe it's true that blondes have more fun. After all, Chiara Ferragni, the Italian style blogger behind The Blonde Salad, certainly upholds this mantra when it comes to fashion. Ferragni tosses together bright colors, striking prints, and glamorous accents for a chic, ultra-modern result that's earned her an international following. For our inaugural Styled By story, we invited Ferragni to stop by our office and gave her a very specific challenge: show us how you'd wear the season's clashing geometric patterns and bright photo prints. The blogger styled an outfit and curated her most coveted pieces, so read on for these fashionable picks. Her Look
Ferragni went straight for polished, streamlined pieces with a graphic slant, like Elizabeth and James' Colorblock Rex Blazer ($425), Marni's Silk Blouse ($1000, 212.343.3912), and Kenneth Cole Bold Stripe Pants ($148), punctuated by a pop of color in the form of Louis Vuitton's Alma MM Epi Bag ($2080, 1.866.VUITTON). To add a little playfulness to her overall look, Ferragni opted for high-octane accessories, including DSquared2 Eyewear by Marcolin's Special Limited Edition Style DQ118 Sunglasses ($965, 310.308.4567), Iosselliani's Brass Necklace with Blue & Pink Fuse Stones ($499), and Charles David's Sway Heels ($185).

Her Picks
Juicy Couture Chunky Link Necklace ($128)
Ferragni often layers chunky necklaces over everything from sweatshirts to button-downs, so it's no surprise she gravitated towards this chain-link version. "I like big necklaces that make the look, like this one from Juicy Couture," Ferragni explains.

3.1 Phillip Lim Motorcycle Jacket with Quilting ($1900, 310.289.0888) in Sky Blue
"3.1 Phillip Lim jackets are always a must-have," Ferragni says. We agree, particularly this slick moto jacket, which comes in a gorgeous shade of blue.

Kenzo Clouded Leopard Jacquard Skirt ($525)
Charming pattern? Check. Flattering silhouette? Check. Tough-girl details? Check. "Kenzo prints are some of my favorites--they have a cool twist!" Ferragni says.

DKNY Black and White Nylon Pieced Swim Top ($335, 1.800.231.0884)
The blogger saw plenty of styling possibilities for DKNY's sporty swim top. "This DKNY bra is wonderful with a see-through top," Ferragni says.

Preen Mason Shirt ($1063)
Ferragni couldn't resist another picking out another splashy motif--this time, Preen's oversized florals and graphic stripes. "I'm in love with prints for next season, and this Preen t-shirt is perfect," she says.

Sigerson Morrison Coline Heels ($425)
Like any true stylesetter, this blogger's got an enviable assortment of shoes. "I really love to collect shoes, and these Sigerson Morrison ones are the perfect addition to my wardrobe for spring," Ferragni says.

BYT by Fiona Kotur Mattie Colorblock Clutch ($75) in Pink/Orange
Ferragni's no stranger to small accents that make a big impact, like this boxy clutch. "I adore the shape and color-blocking," she says.

Marcia Moran BR395 Iridescent Druzy Earrings ($388)
"I don't wear earrings so often, but when I do I like sparkly ones, like these from Marcia Moran," Ferragni says. Better yet, these baubles can be worn multiple ways by rearranging the differently sized pieces or taking one out.

Shakuhachi New Romantics Cutout Shift Dress ($280)
Shakuhachi's pretty frock, a cross between alluring and sweet, immediately caught Ferragni's eye. "Give me white lace and I immediately think about summer: love this dress!" she says. It's certainly got us in the mood for warm weather, too!--Tiffany Tse
