We love shopping, but it's about to get a little too easy to splurge on the latest It bag of the season next time it pops up on your Instagram feed. Beginning next week, Instagram will introduce users to a new mobile shopping experience that allows you to make purchases directly from the app.
This month, select users on iOS devices will be able to shop from 20 U.S.-based retailers like J.Crew, Shopbop, Levi's, Warby Parker, Kate Spade New York, and Target. Shoppable photos will feature a "tap to view" shopping bag button on the bottom left. When tapped, a tag will appear on up to five shoppable products and show its name and price. Users can tap on an item for detailed views and more information seamlessly. If interested, there is a "Shop Now" button that will add it their cart on the retailer's site, all without leaving the app. Now that's shopping about your fingertips—literally.
Keep scrolling to shop our crossbody bags to make scrolling your shoppable feed even easier.
