You may have noticed that over the past several seasons, no brand has set the next big trends quite like Gucci has, and that includes footwear. Gucci's crossover mules, fur-lined Prince slippers, and Marmont loafers have become staples in fashion girls' shoe collections everywhere, so our eyes quickly went to the footwear when the brand released images of its Pre-Fall 17 collection today.
A key footwear trend for 2017 will be satin, which Net-a-Porter's VP of global buying, Sarah Ruston, reported in her spring 2017 trend presentation. And given that Gucci is such a driver of trends, the embroidered knee-high boots in an array of colors that many of the models wore confirm that satin will indeed be a major trend in the coming year.
The boots were paired with signature Gucci pieces like colorful pleated and ruffle skirts and dresses, embroidered outerwear, and printed trousers. Keep scrolling to see the boots and the Pre-Fall 17 collection in full!
