This season the Saint Laurent show was held at the Hôtel de Sénecterre, a location creative director Hedi Slimane has spent three years restoring to house Saint Laurent Couture. The more intimate venue necessitated a smaller guest list compared to its usual size, making this one of the hardest tickets to come by.

Forget the usual system of numbered seats separated by section—instead, guests had to find their place by a golden placard engraved with their name.
Models walked down a dramatic staircase and traipsed around the downstairs room of the venue.
Though Slimane is known for shows with major production—lights, music, elaborate sets—this season, the models walked in silence, only accompanied by Bénédicte Ginestous, who announced the house’s couture collections from 1977 to 2002, proclaiming each look’s number.
