Rumi Neely's Guide to Having the Flyest Swimsuit on the Beach

Fashion Toast blogger Rumi Neely might be considered the blogging world's foremost expert on showing just the right amount of skin. As a longtime supporter of crop tops, short shorts, and (primarily) the slip dress, Neely is the clear choice to consult on the skimpiest of all summer staples: swimwear.

"Right now I'm finding myself scouring the Internet daily for the most July-friendly swimwear," Neely tells us. "There's something about a new bikini that is so exciting and, well, motivating too. I'm loving one-pieces with more-extreme silhouettes, crochet pieces, and tiny triangle tops."

Chloé Scalloped Bikini Top ($113)

This is one of my favorite bikinis of all time. I have it in black, but I love it in this rust color. It's '70s in the best way.

Mikoh Reunion Bikini Top ($86)

The notched cut on this bandeau top makes it stand out. It's perfect for the girl with a deathly fear of tan lines.

Tori Praver Krishna One Piece Swimsuit ($165)

Tori Praver's super-strappy one-piece is the least boring one out there. The deep V and delicate straps in the back make it feel really special.

Minimale Animale Lucid String Bikini Top ($80)

Minimale Animale doesn't hold back with the skimpiness, and it's kind of amazing. Its simple string bikini is essential and never goes out of style.

H&M Ring Bikini Top in Beige ($18)

The gold ring with the neutral color is so pretty and wearable.

Missoni Mare Reversible Bikini Set ($580)

Missonis are the Rolls-Royce of swimwear to me! I've been lusting after one for years. Extra points for being reversible.

Out From Under Triangle Racerback Bikini Top ($36)

I love the clean cut and athletic vibe of this bikini. It's simple but makes a statement.

Nasty Gal Alina Swimsuit ($78)

I have this in blush, and it's the perfect nod to the '90s high-cut leg and super-deep back. And it somewhat doubles as a bodysuit when paired with shorts!

She Made Me Essential Halter Bikini Top ($95)

I'm obsessed with this Australian line; it has perfect colors and cuts. Crochet bikinis aren't the most practical, but they're so pretty and give off the perfect '70s vibe when paired with denim.

Beach Riot x Stone Cold Fox Dahlia Bikini Top ($100)

This is such a fun bikini to mix and match, with its beautiful unique print and classic string cut.
