This weekend marks the unofficial start of summer (finally), and even though it's only Wednesday, we're already so stoked on the idea of busting out all our summer sartorial favorites. We teamed up with Fashion Toast blogger Rumi Neely, who shared her own thoughts on the hot season's style staples.
"Summer means the opportunity to travel to your favorite vacation spots, and to pick out some key pieces to make sure you stay cool," Neely told us. "This summer, I'm into updating my accessories, zeroing in on a few beach-day-friendly beauty products, and finding a few special pieces that will elevate my entire wardrobe."

I love Marysia's scalloped bikini, and now I have to have the zigzag as well. The matte waffle woven material really makes them feel special.
I love the silhouette this creates: dramatic but still wearable. I'd wear it with denim shorts and a nude heel.
Zara Long Shirt With Vents ($70)
The easiest to just throw on, these shorts are super-flattering with delicate lace and copper hardware. Just enough of that loungey pajama vibe.
Are You Am I Ophelia Lace Shorts ($260)
I love wearing simple tanks and T-shirts with a fully loaded ear. This cuff by Jacquie Aiche is such a good extra bit of glimmer.
Jacquie Aiche JA Studded Ear Cuff ($88)
I'm one of those people with a beauty section carved out in her fridge, and this is one of the products that lives in there. I love applying this gel mask to revitalize my skin on super-hot days.
iS Clinical CoolMint Revitalizing Masque ($56)
Sexy but easy to dress down, this little leather mini is one I love. Embossed studs mean you get the total look with zero pain.
Are You Am I Kell Macro Embossed Stud Leather Mini ($450)
This is my go-to product for a subtle highlighting boost. The super-neutral, cool tone adds just enough pretty glow to your cheekbones.
NARS x Christopher Kane Silent Nude Blush ($30)
I live in espadrilles in the summer, and these are the ones I'm excited to add to the rotation. They're a little bohemian but not costumey.
Chloé Fringed Suede Espadrilles ($495)
These are such a cool take on the classic aviator shape, but more sleek and minimal. A total summer staple.
Acne Studios Large Spitfire Sunglasses ($400)
Keeping my gym wardrobe exciting has an embarrassingly dramatic effect on my desire to work out. The perfect gym shorts are hard to find; these solve the issue of having them too tight or riding up by doing the layering for you. Totally Runyon Canyon–ready.
Live the Process Stretch-Jersey Shorts ($110)
In the hotter months, I mostly just want to scramble around in sneakers or sandals, but when I do want to have a little extra height, I'll be turning to Aquazzura's strappy espadrilles. These are heels I can still manage to be nimble in.
Aquazzura Belgravia Wedge Espadrilles ($405)
Dainty gold necklaces are great to layer with—until they get tangled an hour into your day. I love that this is pre-layered without looking too complicated, and the longer length is really pretty over a loose tank or peeking out from a button-down.
Kristen Elspeth Layered Arc Necklace ($180)
I've officially reached collector status when it comes to triangle bras. This one by Stella McCartney is such a cool combination of pretty and athletic.
Stella McCartney Millie Drawing Lace Soft-Cup Bra ($80)
