Denim is such an integral part of my wardrobe. I don’t think there’s a day that goes past that I’m not in denim. And if I’m not in denim, I’m in leather. But what’s not to love? Thanks to so many great designer styles and cuts, the fabric is so versatile and accessible—and you can really wear it everywhere. Heading into spring, I’m particularly excited about Paige’s new designs, which offer everything from the perfect light-wash skinny to a ‘70s-inspired pencil skirt. Keep reading for my favorite styles and how I’m wearing them now.
Paige Edgemont Ultra Skinny Jeans ($249)
Spring always allows us to wear lighter wash jeans, and if I were going to invest in only one pair this season, it would definitely be the Edgemont Ultra Skinny in Powder Blue. They make everything look cool. You can wear them with a T-shirt and boots on the weekend, or a silk camisole and blazer for an important meeting, a date, or going out for cocktails. Plus, the zips on the pockets lend a cool, tomboy vibe, which I love.
Paige Patch Jimmy Jimmy Skinny ($249)
I recently wore these boyfriend jeans out shopping in Beverly Hills, and it’s one of my favorite looks I’ve ever worn. I think a tonal outfit is so fresh and polished for spring, so I paired the jeans with a white sweater and nude heels, and slicked my hair back into a bun, which gave the look a little edge. When it starts to heat up, you can swap your knit for a T-shirt for an equally chic look.
Paige Verdugo Ankle Yuna Tux Embellished Jeans ($339)
Denim with embellishments is great for a night out, and I personally have been coveting these tux-inspired jeans. They are smart and feel slightly more elevated and dressed up, thanks to the beaded stripe on the side of the leg. Play up their rock ‘n’ roll vibe with a black T-shirt and pumps.
Paige Deirdre Skirt ($169)
A denim pencil skirt is surprisingly versatile and unexpected. I wore this skirt the other day with the softest denim shirt tucked in and a pair of bright red ankle boots. It was a really fun look, because the color of the skirt is so bright and fresh.
Paige Callie Shorts ($159)
I’m actually fussy when it comes to denim shorts, because they can quickly go from looking cute to unpolished. Anything that is too short and allows your bum to hang out is inappropriate anywhere outside the beach. The Callie Shorts are great, because they are flattering on the leg and are frayed the perfect amount. I would wear them with a breezy cotton top and seasonally appropriate espadrille sandals.
Etoile Isabel Marant Embroidered Cotton Top ($395)
Tabitha Simmons Sebille Ankle-Wrap Espadrilles ($395)
