There’s nothing like a perfectly fitting vintage or recycled pair of jeans to take an outfit (or, arguably, entire wardrobe) to the next level. However, if thrift shops or big budgets aren’t in the cards for you, this dream may seem out of reach. Thankfully, though, today is the day that changes. We’re bringing you five go-to websites where you can get vintage denim (including shorts and skirts) at a range of price points and styles. From Reformation’s surplus-fabric pieces to the Etsy shop this editor actually frequents, we’ve got something for everyone—and then some.
So what are you waiting for? Shop our go-to places for recycled denim, as well as our picks from each, below!
Reformation isn’t all crop tops and summer dresses. Its denim selection, also made from surplus fabric, is as forward as the rest of the brand’s pieces, and with all pieces under $150, it’s moderately priced, too.
In addition to a variety of other pieces such as tops, jackets, and dresses, Urban Outfitters’ all-vintage Urban Renewal line boasts a cool girl–approved offering of denim.
What Goes Around Comes Around
A quick Etsy search for “vintage jeans” or “Levi’s” might make your head spin instantly, but if you filter appropriately (add a size to your search or have a go-to shop to check out), you’ll have a much easier time. My personal favorite is Bailey Ray & Co, which carries a huge selection of vintage Levi’s in a variety of sizes.
Now that you’ve got the jeans, see the number one outfit we think you should wear with them this summer.
