When it comes to style, designer Rachel Antonoff is known for her loud prints and quirky sensibility. In fact, if we had to describe her aesthetic, we would use the word fun. We were thrilled to find out that the spunky designer is making a foray into the plus-size market by teaming up with clothing subscription service Gwynnie Bee. Racked caught a preview of the collection at CurvyCon and described the scene at the upbeat fashion show, where girls of all sizes lost it when they saw Antonoff's designs. "As each look walks down the runway—flouncy pink floral dresses, fruit-print tops with shoulder cutouts—the crowd goes absolutely wild," said the article.
The line will include seven pieces, some of which will feature Antonoff's favorite prints from seasons past—like the dissected frog print from her science fair collection and the fruit print from spring—and range in sizes 10 to 32 or L to 5X. And don't expect this to be a one-off collab like most designer partnerships. Antonoff has hinted at expanding her line to include more sizes, so we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more news.
In the meantime, check out some of our favorite looks from the adorable collection below.
