If it seems like people are talking about Princess Diana more than ever right now, you're not imagining it. This year marks the 20th anniversary of her death, and a slew of new documentaries have been made in her honor. Ever since BBC Channel 4's documentary Diana: In Her Own Words aired in late July, there's been a resurgence of interest in the adored princess. And that interest includes the sartorial variety, naturally.
The Telegraph just reported that according to fashion search engine Lyst, since the announcement of the documentary, searches for a few of her most iconic pieces have skyrocketed. Included among those pieces is the iconic leopard-print one-piece swimsuit that she wore in while on vacation in the South of France in 1997. Lyst searches rose by 39% thanks to the below iconic image of Diana wearing a Gottex swimsuit. According to Lyst, "The resurfaced images of Diana wearing the piece are likely to have influenced this piqued interest."
With that, read on to see the image and shop leopard-print one-pieces for yourself, and head over to The Telegraph to see the rest of the trending Diana-inspired pieces.
