This Flirty Trend Is Returning in a Big Way

Sara Escudero and Diego Anciano are the journeying duo behind the fashion and travel site Collage Vintage. Conceived in Spain in 2009, Collage Vintage started as Sara’s escape from the advertising world and a place to share her love for fashion and all things vintage. This hobby quickly transitioned to a full-time profession where Sara shares her effortless and novel style in a myriad of travel destinations. You can find the pair exploring Paris, Bali, New York, and Tokyo, to name a few of their favorite spots. Diego is the eye behind the camera, and together, they form a brilliant team. Below, Escudero is sharing her style insights.

When I visited Paris for fashion week recently, it was the perfect time to test out a few new trends on my radar. And there’s one in particular that I think is about to make a huge return. I’m talking about polka dots. I’ve been seeing them all over Instagram and think they’re about to explode on the street style scene.

I chose a one-shoulder Monse dress and, instead of wearing it with heels, threw on a pair of cool, metallic silver boots. Swapping out heels for ankle boots is an easy way to make a long dress feel more daytime. Then, I added my go-to J.W.Anderson bag to finish off the look. What’s cool about the return of polka dots is that they can look flirty and cool all at the same time.

Go on to see how I styled my polka-dot outfit and shop the piece I wore.
