“Know the specific aspects of yourself that you love, and find ways to accentuate them. Say you love your cleavage; go for a V-neck. Or if you love your hips, go for high-waisted jeans and a crop top to show off that curve.” — Jennie Runk
“Never be afraid to try something new, and don’t be discouraged by the first thing you try on. For example, I’ve had a tumultuous relationship with denim shorts. I never thought I could wear them, because they were always so short. I spent a whole summer trying on every pair I found, until I found a few that I really liked and felt comfortable in. My advice is to reach out of your comfort zone and don’t give up. You might surprise yourself!” — Jennie Runk
“It’s worth it. Set your alarm a little early so you can take your time and enjoy your morning routine without feeling stressed about getting ready. Even though I try to plan what I’m wearing the night before, you never know when you want to make a last-minute outfit swap or have to deal with a bad hair day. Giving myself extra time also lets me do other things in the morning, like read or play with my cat. This helps me feel calm and centered for the rest of the day so I’m feeling my best inside and out.” — Jennie Runk
“I have a couple of staple dresses that I know look great with a specific pair of shoes. If I’m running late and need to change quickly, I know exactly what to grab. Another formula of mine is skinny jeans, a tank top, and a cropped jacket. I have a few variations of each so I can mix and match seamlessly and have different outfits throughout the week. Having these formulas makes picking outfits easy, especially when you’re in a time crunch!” — Jennie Runk
“A good lipstick can transform your look from day to night in seconds, which is perfect for impromptu after-work drinks or a last-minute party invite when you don’t have time to go home and change. If red isn’t your thing, try a different bold color. Or if you’re more of a smoky-eye person, invest in a good eye shadow palette and some brushes to keep in your bag. A quick trip to the bathroom to throw it on, and you’re ready to go!” — Jennie Runk
